What a great time raising funds for a great cause! Because of your generosity, women will find safety, girls and young women will avoid unhealthy and potentially fatal relationships, and pastors and lay leaders will begin connecting survivors to resources right from their sanctuaries!

Girls and young women between the ages of 16 and 24 experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence.
One in four teens in a relationship say they have been called names, harassed or put down by their partner through cell phones and texting.
Young people, 12 to 19 years old, experience the highest rates of r**e and sexual assault, and youth, 18 to 19 years old, experience the highest rates of stalking.
In College …
Nearly half (43%) of dating college women report experiencing violent and abusive dating behaviors.
College students may not be equipped to deal with dating abuse – 57% say it is difficult to identify and 58% say they don’t know how to help someone who’s experiencing it.
One in three (36%) dating college students has given a dating partner their computer, online access, email or social network passwords and these students are more likely to experience digital dating abuse.
One in six (16%) college women has been sexually abused in a dating relationship.

Ishshah's Place is adopting 4 families for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
For Thanksgiving, they will giveaway food baskets to include turkey, ham, non perishables, and all the trimmings.
For Christmas, in addition to the food baskets, Ishshah's Place will also adopt 4 families and provide some items of clothing and toys from their holiday wish list.

That’s 358 domestic violence court orders that were granted in ONE month. Please SAVE THE DATE for this important walk that will help bring awareness domestic violence and introduce you important service providers.💜💜💜
