Sometimes, things don’t turn out as you expected them to - but that doesn’t mean you can’t find purpose and joy in the unplanned. Such was the case here at Music City Setters this week.

We were waiting with much anticipation for our first litter of Ryman Style Setters to be born. A litter that George Ryman himself would hopefully approve of.

On January 23, 2024, 5 days passed our Millie’s expected due date, she was taken in for an emergency C-Section and gave birth to a baby boy, and a baby girl. Yes, 2 puppies. Thats all there were in there folks. They weighed around 8 oz each (perfect weight for a newborn) Millie is recovering very well and the pups are wiggly, and healthy, and adorable (of course)!

We put so much effort into planning our breeding, our litters, then work very hard to ensure that a litter of healthy pups are physically and socially ready for their forever homes. At first, we couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed that our first Ryman style litter yielded only two puppies. But despite the circumstances of the event, it all turned out perfectly anyway, everyone is happy and healthy. And maybe all this makes this litter of pups just a little more special.

So, with no further delay, Music City Setters would like to introduce
Baby Boy (insert name here) and Baby Girl Josie!
