Last year, our secretary of state's office and local auditors started receiving public disclosure requests for sensitive information when it came to the return envelopes. We don't think the public would be comfortable knowing when they sign their ballot and put their email down that total strangers could obtain this information.
We're listening to Washingtonians and trying to keep their most private information as private as possible.
