- Fencing repairs
- Stable deep cleans and repairs
- Moving of stalls
-Weather preparation for winter
2. Website Creator/Content Creator
- Photography
- Videography
- Content for website and socials
- Fundraising coordinator

Please note that everything can be done anytime of day that suits your personal schedule. Additionally, there are always projects going on you can choose to pitch in for or not, we appreciate the extra hands but it's not a requirement. And of course, for those that aren’t riders but want to be riders, want to learn about horses, want to work with horse, etc, as we are currently training some of our Sanctuary horses there will opportunities to learn and ride with us. We will never complain about more hands.
I think we have covered everything, but of course feel free to ask any questions you may have.

4th of July GGRRS style
Wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th of July !
Thank you for your trust and love . Forever in my heart !
We have very heavy hearts today at GGRRS. We lost so many of our first's yesterday.
After a long day of fighting we had to say goodbye to sweet Dahlia. Our first rescue, our first adopted, our first annual Halloween costume contest winner and now our first rescue loss.
Her adopted mama Carrie Anne was also our first volunteer when we started our rescue side. Dahlia and Carrie Anne instantly connected. We were blessed that she allowed Dahlia to stay and board with us so we got to continue to see her flourish and care for her.
Dahlia had such a big presence and beautiful energy about her. She was a girlfriend to Fabio, who loved her deeply and she him, and an adopted mama to our boy, Maui.
Not a day would go by that she didn't toss her hay up in the rafter in her barn stall. I think it was to give herself a laugh watching us go up and get it. She was notorious for speaking her opinion and letting her wants be known. She truly was the sweetest girl yet sassy all in one beautiful package.
The barn and entire ranch is quiet today. All your herd mates, friends and us humans miss and love you very much !
Run free in tall grasses and watch over us all as we continue on caring for all the ones left behind .
Sadly we are losing a family member due to a move up north !! It is never easy when we lose a boarder as everyone at Graefen Grove Ranch become family. We have been so blessed over the years to have the kindest and funnest boarders !
But...we have boarding availeable July 1st for 2 new family members. One spot has not been availeable in over 10 years. One is a paddock with it's own personal barn that can have 2 horses and the other is a larger paddock with shelter. Please feel free to message if you are looking for a very friendly and quiet boarding facility. Somewhere where you would like to feel at home and have a calming atmosphere with your fur baby. A place where your fur baby is truly treated like our own because it is what this family owned facility enjoys the most !
If interested in this type of environment please feel free to contact us !
We can't wait to welcome our next family member/s !
Big thank you to Christine Beausoleil for your generous donation!!
Today, we hold in high esteem the valiant heroes who gave their lives in service to our country, defending the very fabric of our freedom. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, who have shown us the true meaning of sacrifice and bravery. 🎗
Our sanctuary ponies are hoping you can help dress them in this year's fashionable protective fly wear!
Who ever donates can actually choose which sanctuary horse they want to help dress!
Every bit helps us continue to give them the best of care !!
Well, it's that time of year again....
We LOVE when the warm sunny weather returns and we bring out the pool and summer games! But.....we hate the flies!
They bite us and irritate us. Some of us even have bad fly allergies that take allergy shots to control.
We need to ask our human friends for help!
Our ranch owner has put together a list of all the things we really need and love to help us. One of our herd members, Luna Moon, is sporting her cute fly sheet that her amazing human friend and donor, Eva Delgado, sent her last year. It still looks amazing!!!
The rest of our sanctuary herd is asking if anyone would like to help dress us in protective fly wear this year? We would so greatly appreciate it!

Background/ Meet the founder
Since I was a small girl I have always had a deep connection with animals, to help animals that otherwise had no voice of their own to the best of my ability. When i was a child i was raised alongside horses, even taught how to ride by hopping on and being told don’t fall off (I do not recommend this method). Since then I have become accustomed to the many different disciplines within the equine community. So after 30 years in the corporate world, I decided it was time for a change. I adopted the first horse since I was a child 11 years ago. I wanted a quiet place for us to spend time together. Somewhere that was personal and not generic mainstream. I had found my safe haven. I quit my job and spent my days at the barn. So after 9 years, 7 horses and 2 goats later I had the chance to live out an unknown dream. I took over the boarding facility and Graefen Grove Ranch was born. Today we specialize in Senior care, ensuring these magnificent creatures receive the very best treatment in their golden years as possible. Most of our horses here at Graefen Grove are retired senior athletes. Everyday I am humbled by the bond we build with these gentle giants.
