No matter what size project, just do your BEST!
We added a window above the sink, moved the placement of the appliances in order to fit a dishwasher, and replaced all the cabinets, sink, and faucet. Check out the new backsplash and recessed lighting!

Rehabbing a property at the edge of Saguaro National. Wildlife is abundant and a bit larger than I’m used to seeing! 🦂🌵

A courtesy gift to the homebuyers:
Newcomers to town so we placed a list of surrounding places 10 minutes away from their new home, info on the plants in their property, their various keys, and some delicious, local, freshly baked cookies with an edible paper logo!

Decide what style your house is going to be and design all the rooms around that. The bathroom is a very important place to make coherent. The choice here was to go to a modern, minimalistic style.

Reclaimed Barnwood giving out a rustic vibe to this modern home.
The panel used to be a roof over an outside door and after a power wash and some invisible finish spray, it was ready to be an outside focal point. A light shines on it at night time! The shadows are beautiful and enhance its beauty.
Having fun while learning a trait! Let's get it done!!!!

I found this piece of wood on the property and had my talented contractor transform it into this unique light fixture that matches the organic look of the fireplace mantle. I say it was a win-win!!!

In an effort to modernize the house, the rock fireplace was a challenge. It was also important to keep the beautiful, distressed wood mantle so here’s what we did:
Removed the hearth extension, because it was like a step and it protruded quite a bit, we then tried white washing it (second photo) but it did not provide the look we were going for. So our final decision was to use Durock to code and here’s the final product:

Here's a Before & After of our property in Tucson, AZ on the NW side of town. A great house with strong bones that needed some TLC plus a full gut....hahaaa!!! We loved how it turned out. You must see the inside. (Photos to come)
