So a very late update. The owners sent me the final pics of the painted staircase.

A couple of custom made from scratch, Newel posts for this remodel, all made from 1x select pine. Along with flooring and new treads and risers to come. The posts turned out amazing! Final pictures to come. Check out the video!

Need some chain saw advise. I’m looking for a good reliable machine! Looking to go with a Stihl. Not sure the size I would need but I have a Forrest to cut down.
