Saturday night, February 4th - The Pearlz Band will be back at Lock 32 in Pittsford. And yes, it's going to be really cold outside.
But we're not going to just thaw The Lock.
We're going to MELT The Lock!
Come on out and let us warm you up. Of course the great craft beer will do that, too - but we'll keep the room cooking all night!
Almost time to Rock the Lock!
This SATURDAY, January 21st - 6 to 9 pm!
The Pearlz Band will be back at Lock 32 for a great night of music!
Come for the beer, stay for the music!
Come for the music, stay for the beer!
We wish for everyone to have a joyful holiday!
And we hope we'll see you in 2023!
Our apologies to all who planned on coming out to see The Pearlz Band on December 17th.
Friday November 12th - come help us celebrate!
The Pearlz Band show for tonight (Oct 15) has been CANCELED due to weather!
The Pearlz Band mourns the loss of our good friend, Peter "Al" Mastrolio. Al has been a frequent guest of The Pearlz Band since we began back in 2008, and right up until the very last show we played with him in the fall of 2020.
We will miss seeing his always smiling face, and hearing his beautiful, beautiful guitar playing. Our thanks go out to our dear friend, and our hearts go out to his entire family.
Happy Trails, Al.
A big, big, thanks to everyone who came out to the end of summer clambake at Sager Beer Works today (8/21). Pearlz got there early and we really enjoyed listening to Ed Iseley, the opening act.
We had a nice sunny afternoon for most of our show… and then the skies opened up. Every thing started getting pretty wet, so we shut down about 20 minutes early. Thanks to Rico and the rest of The Fakers - the final act - for giving us the word when the rain first started sprinkling.
Our apologies for our abrupt yet unavoidable ending. But all in all, we had a lot of fun and we were thrilled by the great turn out. Hope we can all do it again there sometime.
The Pearlz Band: Dave, Nancy, & Jerry
Coming at ya this weekend!
Many thanks to everyone who came out to Sager Beer Works this Friday evening to hear the band. We made the right call to play indoors, as it rained pretty heavily for a good while. Many of you hung out for all or most of the evening, and we really appreciated having you there.
Thanks again for coming out to support LIVE music at a very cool venue. And thanks to the folks at Sager for having us back.
~Dave, Nancy, and Jerry (The PEARLZ Band).
A big “Thank You” to everyone who came out to our performance last night (6/26) at Seven Story Brewing. It was our first show in many, many months, and we were moved by the huge turnout and warm reception.
Speaking of “warm” - it certainly was, with temps in the low 90s. We were a bit worried all week about rain, but instead ended up with a little too much sunshine! Thanks for your patience and concern as we tried to deal with the heat and the intense sun by taking a few short breaks much earlier than planned. Once the sun dipped below the tree tops, it was much more comfortable for us, and we felt like we were finally getting back into form.
But all in all, it felt great to be back. We had fun, and hope you did as well. Thanks again to everyone for deciding to spend your night with us. And a special shout out of thanks to our “roadies” who helped us move our equipment up those stairs after the show - much, much, much appreciated. It truly was “HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME”, and there’s plenty more to come!
Thanks!
- Dave, Nancy, and Jerry
The Pearlz Band from summer 2019, covering "Wagon Wheel".
The chorus ("Rock Me Mama"....etc.) was written by Bob Dylan back in 1973 and left as an unfinished demo. Twenty-five years later, Ketch Secor (of the band Old Crow Medicine Show) wrote the verses to finish it off, and began performing it live at their shows. In 2012, it became a huge solo hit for (Hootie & The Blowfish lead singer) Darius Rucker.
This song has become one of the most requested songs ever at bars across the country - probably right behind "Free Bird". So some folks have grown tired of it, but we still enjoy playing it. Hope you might enjoy it, too.
Pearlz covering "The Weight", that great Robbie Robertson song from The Band.
"Take a load off, Fanny...and put the load right on me." Hope you enjoy it!
The Pearlz Band had a fantastic time tonight (Saturday, Feb 22) at Sager Beer Works. Many thanks to everyone who came out to see us there. We had a great night because of all of you.
We’ll be back at Sager again next month: Friday, March 20th. We never play the same show twice, so if you catch us again, hopefully we’ll have a few songs in the mix that you haven’t heard us play before - or at last haven’t heard us play for a while. Anyway, thanks again for coming out to spend your night with us, and we hope we’ll see you again soon.
Pearlz burning through the Loggins & Messina classic!
A performance from a few years back, probably around 2016. On stage at Sticky Lips BBQ on Jefferson Road, featuring Nancy on the banjo. Big thanks to Nick for taking a break from the pulled pork to record the video.
