Despite overwhelming* athlete, coach, and parent support of keeping riding and a vote of no confidence in UIPM, USAPM still released a statement supporting the removal of riding AND voted support the UIPM EB’s motion to remove riding. More secret meetings and a further disregard for their athletes’ voices. After receiving a petition with 252 signatures and letter with 54 athletes’ signatures, USAPM leadership proceeded to ignore its athletes voices to reject UIPM’s unlawful decision to remove riding despite the function of the Board to be to represent its community and athletes per Section 7.2 of its bylaws.
