Luna Moth Knots
I care about our planet so my items I create are made from eco-friendly materials
“Dogs die. But dogs live, too. Right up until they die, they live. They live brave, beautiful lives. They protect their families. And love us. And make our lives a little brighter. And they don't waste time being afraid of tomorrow.”
Dan Gemeinhart - The Honest Truth.
Peder Severin Krøyer - Summer Evening at Skagen, The Artist's Wife and Dog, 1892.
I had to move all my stuff over to Etsy because I couldn’t afford the website. My business is moving very slow but that tells me to keep moving forward and don’t give up. Someone favorited one of my items and that feels good.
Newest piece done. Took a lot of hours to complete. Will be up on my store for sale very soon!
Pretty pretty plant hangers. 7 more colors to go!
"Sometimes, carrying on, just carrying on, is the superhuman achievement."
Albert Camus

“Thorns may hurt you, men desert you, sunlight turn to fog;
but you're never friendless ever, if you have a dog.”
Douglas Malloch
Thérèse Schwartze - Portrait of a Young Woman with Puck the Dog, 1879-85.
Rainbow love (keychains) many more colors on there way to being finished!
Biggest macrame piece I’ve made finally finished. It took a lot longer then I wanted it to but a lot of mistakes happened. This piece was a huge learning process. The beads on the end pieces are real sesame jasper stones.
The keychains are finished. They will be available at the opening of my macrame store. I have six new colors being shipped to me now. All the cord is zero waste cotton. Except the red in the picture.
A few more weeks and my website will be opening!
Made this little beauty. Was really hard to get the pattern down and I know it’ll look even better next time.
Got some beautiful new colors to play with?
My first macrame coffee mug coaster. Many more to make!
First set of keychains made and they are looking very lovely.
Made my first keychain. Super excited to see how lovely it looks. Love this color. More colors to come

SHE KEPT COMING TO REMIND ME MOTHS ARE ATTRACTED TO THE LIGHT!
In some cultures, there is a belief that seeing a Luna moth is considered a message to you from the universe.
A message to remind you that you need to let go of your past and embrace your present.
It is also considered as a message to get rid of your past identities and embrace the unknown.
It is important to note that the moth just doesn’t blindly fly to the light. Instead, it remains vigilant in the entire path that leads to light. This reminds us to stay vigilant in all our quests while keeping our intuition and judgment intact.
Luna moths are vulnerable species, and yet they fly with their wings wide open. Seeing one at a vulnerable stage in your life means that you don’t have to be ashamed of your vulnerabilities.
Luna moths also indicate that you need to focus on your goals rather than worrying about the hurdles and setbacks. Just like how a Luna moth focused on becoming a beautiful winged moth throughout its metamorphosis.
Adult luna moths do not eat at all, and therefore have only vestigial mouthparts and no digestive system. Their sole purpose in life is to reproduce. They have only about a week to do so before they die. A reminder that life is precious!
My first project I made for someone else (my sister). A beautiful mirror mandala laced with opalite crystal beads!
