Kings Valley will be closing the Club House around 5 tonight. However it's fine that we play through our normal hours (4:00 - 7:00), just know we won't be able to stop in half way or after the round to buy grub and beverage. They apologise for the inconvenience

For everyone enjoying the monster trucks please keep an eye out for these two dogs. They unfortunately got off their leashes at 5:30pm and ran off when I was doing work on the Fairgrounds disc golf course. Their names are Sapphire and Coda. Thank you very much 707-954-5507

From what I understand tags 1, 2, & 3 will be at Kings Valley today! KV reg 3:45, round starts at 4:00. Additionally, FG tee work will be going on today from 12:00 to 3:30 and if you put in at least one hour of work with me I will pay for half of your greens fees today at Kings Valley. All help is much appreciated. Oh, and there are monster trucks tonight, showtime 7:00 @ the fairgrounds

Good afternoon disc golfers. A small group of WRDGC members have been volunteering their time and skills to make the push to install the final few Randy Hatfield DGC tee pads. Currently we have been working on the course Tuesdays at 3:00 and Fridays at 12:00, but we are flexible and can accommodate your schedule. If interested please comment below and we will connect. ..And better than ever. Kings Valley Golf Course has taken it upon themselves to install 9 permanent baskets and is ready for us to sling some plastic. Starting this Friday May 10th we will be playing a weekly league at Kings Valley Golf Course

-2 rounds of 9 holes with a small break between rounds (please help yourself to food and refreshments)
-$12 (clubhouse fee)
-Singles
-1 division
-4:00 through 7:00pm
-Normal WRDGC ace pot ($100 to current club members, $50 to non-club members)
-Possibly CTP prize(s)

There is a strict 4:00 p.m. start time so please prepare to be there by 3:45. Also, if desired we can do a side pot for payout

One day event to raise money for the disc golf development fund at Humboldt Area Foundation. The event is sponsored by Herb N Market, Top Shelf Disc Supply, Wildflower Cafe, Old Town Coffee and Chocolates

This is a trophy/schwag only payout event. All proceeds go to the disc golf development fund at Humboldt Area Foundation (www.hafoundation.org). This fund was created by Par Infinity with three distinct purposes.
1. Fund youth disc golf in Humboldt County.
2. Develop, improve and maintain local courses.
3. (Long term) Purchase property for the installation of a disc golf course in Humboldt County.

Cost - $35
(Entry comes with a player pack disc)
Mulligans for sale as well, $5 each or 5/$20

The Round will consist of 9 holes of Singles, 9 holes of Random Doubles and 9 holes of Alternating Shot Quads among the players in your card.

The first ever disc golf tournament at Kings Valley Golf Course is in the books. The Trilogy Challenge was a great time and went smoothly. Big thanks to Kings Valley for letting Wild Rivers Disc Golf Club try this out and I hope to continue exploring further disc golf possibilities there. Also, big thanks to Jeremy LaBrasca for helping again with registration/check-in and tournament central details. Further thanks to all the course setup and basket bringers and movers Rob, Mike, Jesus, Steven, Travis, and Tylor.

I think things went quite well as far as flow and shared use of the space with ball golfers, aside from a few play-through opportunities. Lastly, I can't believe Phil one-timed the CTP hole his very first throw of the tournament, just crazy! Thanks again everyone for the help and good vibes. Till next time!

We still have 15 spots available if you would like to play. If so, bring $50 to Kings Valley Golf Course and we'll get you all settled. Check in at 1:00, with players meeting at 1:40. See you there!

Let's be sure to make a good impression and if able please grab yourself some refreshments and snacks from the bar before, between, and after the rounds!
