My Two Reasons
My name is Brandon Moutaw, and I am the owner and Lead Handyman for Moose & Bee: Odd Job Pros. As long as I can remember I have learned to do things quickly and efficiently. And ever since the beginning, my mom has always raised me to be honest and well-mannered, and treat others with respect. And my dad taught me everything I know about home improvement, from how to use a drill, to diligent never-quit work ethic. He is the reason why I developed skills that have led to my ability to work on almost anything. And my mom is the reason you’ll want to work with me again.
I have been learning odd-job trades since I could swing a hammer. One at a time, year after year. You name it, I can do it! However, they were all just hobbies or “side-jobs” to help a friend or family, upgrading something on my house, or repairing something where I was working. It wasn’t until I left the restaurant industry and had no idea what I wanted to do, that I realized that I had two reasons to turn my hobbies into a career... My kids. I have two daughters who inspire me every day. And in talking with them, they have shown me that doing what I love, what I am good at, and doing it on my own will ultimately make them the most proud. Since they were born, my older daughter Raelyn has always been my “Mooser Mozers,” and my younger daughter Brielle my “Booger Bee.” It was fitting that the two reasons for starting my company should have rights to the name! I work for them, and they’re the bosses!
