Capturing the beauty of life.
It’s hard playing golf at night when you can hardly find your ball during the daytime 🤣
Some random pictures from lately. At first glance they may not seem beautiful, but I encourage you to notice the underlying beauty in everyday moments like these. Whether it’s things where they shouldn’t be, a sidewalk unfinished, a nostalgic place, or appreciating the home you get to live in. I promise I’m not just posting nonsense photos, but rather trying to get others to realize our lives don’t have to be extraordinary to appreciate the lives we have. I hope this finds someone who needs that reminder.
Looking at these I can just smell the high cholesterol filled foods 🤤
Life is Sweet
Also recently, I shot my first event! La fiesta de Caro y Jorge. It was a blast and again something I was able to put my own spin on!
Recently, I had the privilege of taking Ethan’s senior football pictures. Different from what I have been doing recently, but enjoyed putting my own spin on a session like this.
Golf, storms, and new apartment 😎
These are from the beginning of summer but I wanted to share some funny, interesting, and beautiful things I try to not overlook.
One of my favorite sequences from my book, “The Art of Seeing” is the very beginning pages of the book.
With this sequence specifically, I look in awe at not only the hidden beauty but the humor within them. My photography has taught me never to take life too seriously because I have more than I could ever ask for. Seeing these little moments of beauty and humor that we have learned to overlook provide me with a sense mindfulness that even meditation can’t achieve.
Take a look around today at some moments you might usually take for granted.
Wow, it’s has been almost six months since I have posted here on Facebook. Might have been a little bit of laziness on my part, but also just being so busy that posting was the last thing on my mind.
During my absence from posting I was working hard to wrap up my last semester of college. This book that is shown here is the culmination of my degree, my portfolio book. This portfolio book is a collection of my best photos from the last two years of being in school.
For most students, it is required to make your own handcrafted book with 16-20 color accurate photo prints. But, me being me, I didn’t want to produce the same product that has been seen from the program for years. So instead, my professor and I decided that for my style of photography, alike the style of photographers like Stephen Shore and William Eggleston, is best consumed in large quantities. Because of this I decided to produce a 13x11in coffee table photobook that consists of 64 intentionally sequenced photos. This book provides an insight as to who I am as a photographer and as a person. How I see the world, and the underlying beauty in the mundane that I want others to see as well.
The beauty of the photos might not be very self evident, until you observe them with an open mind and realize the intention they are captured with.
The book is currently for sale in the same size that I presented it in for my portfolio night, but will soon be available in other sizes. I really appreciate everyone’s support and hope that you would feel encouraged to purchase a copy. Sending love!

I haven't been active at all on Facebook, for what has been a very reflective and creative time for myself. Every time I check back into Facebook giving updates on where my life is I always talk about how much I enjoy photography. That has not changed one bit. I have continued to fall in love with my own creative process and expressing my emotions through the things I choose to photograph. I understand my photos may not portray evident beauty, but that is exactly my goal: to show my perspective on the world around me and you, not trying romanticize life but to show that there is beauty in the banal.
If you hang in there I'll explain myself more...
In my photography I sometimes feel like I'm a child again, seeing things for the first time. Finding simple pleasures in simple things. Seeing a random bike in a tree for some unknown reason should be something to be in awe of. Seeing what you think are someone's legs, but turn out to be wire mesh legs through a store window should be worth investigating with my camera. A nice lonely restaurant chair in an alley should get some attention. My creative self is scared to grow up and lose those simple fascinations with life.
With these photographs in particular I wanted to show the beauty of solitude within the world and within myself. In the process of diving into my creative pursuit I have realized that I have fallen in love with my solitude. With this group of images, I aim to show me realizing the beauty in the solitude of the world surrounding me in the places that I am. Leading to the final image, appreciating the time I spend in solitude.
Going back to Oklahoma for an extended period of time this summer made me have a newfound appreciation for the place I grew up. Kind of missing it, but definitely not missing the humidity haha
WOW! What a summer! I'll tell you what, even though I haven't been posting, my camera almost never left my hands. I keep falling more in love with the art that is photography, and I keep finding different ways to express my creativeness. Now that school has started I will make it a point to post my photos more as time goes on. Here are a lot of my favorite pictures from the summer!

Day 1/7
These first few weeks of summer have been so refreshing, and much needed. I feel like I have been in a creative flow state this whole summer, having the ability to create photos that I enjoy creating. In honor of having the free time to do so, for the next seven days I'll be posting photos that I've taken lately. These photos will range from very personal, artistic approaches to photography, to the captured moments that bring me joy. I hope that you all enjoy these photos as much as I do.
Hello everybody! I am back in Oklahoma for the summer, which means that I am available for any of your photography needs. With me I brought five, 6x9 prints of each of these pictures and would love to give them away! If you would like one of them, just get ahold of me, or comment on this post. No purchase will be necessary, but if you would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
Belleza más allá de las palabras.
Well, as the school year comes to an end and about to head back home to Oklahoma for the summer, I have to say this past year has helped me grow so much mentally and creatively. I am even more passionate about photography now compared to when I started, and learning about it everyday with other friends with the same aspirations has been nothing but a blessing. There is not a day that I dread going to school to learn and create this form of art. I am completely obsessed with pursuing this career and life I have ahead of me.
For my final project for my Photographic Color Theory class this semester, I tried to show the emergence of spring green in Colorado starting to take back their territory us humans have interrupted. Trying to show the beauty of the mundane. I hope you enjoy!
