WELCOMING A NEW DENTIST – DR. BRADLEY VAN ESS

We are proud to announce that Dr. Bradley Van Ess, a General Dentist, is joining Lycoming Dental Associates August 2023. Dr. Bradley grew up in Montoursville, PA. He attended Loyalsock High School, then went on to Penn State University for his undergraduate degree and LECOM School of Dental medicine for his DMD degree. Dr. Bradley enjoys playing music (bass guitar) and skiing.
Dr. Bradley provides multiple dental services including fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, dentures, pediatric treatment, and nitrous oxide.
Dr. Bradley is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a beautiful smile, and is looking forward to meeting and treating our existing and New Patients!

We have an immediate opening for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA ) to join our team. As part of our clinical team you will play a vital role in caring for our patients and supporting our doctors chairside. Looking for a dynamic professional individual to be kind, compassionate and caring to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to the provider during dental procedures
• Chart and take x-rays
• Review dental records with patients and provide instruction on post-op procedures.
• Prepare and breakdown operatories and equipment prior to and in between each patient.
• Able to make temporary crowns/bridges.
• Organize and maintain lab cases
• Ensure OSHA and dental board policies are properly followed.
• Support front office and clinical team with tasks
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong Initiative
• Strong organizational and anticipation skills
• Able to work in a fast pace environment and multitask while remaining positive and calm.


Requirements:

• Current PA EFDA License
• Current Radiology Certification

It has come to our attention that many patients have expressed concern since the building is for sale that Lycoming Dental is closing. We want to assure you that the sale of the building has no affect on our practice. WE ARE NOT CLOSING OUR DENTAL OFFICE. In fact, we will be expanding our team and dental services in the next couple months.
Our team takes each patients dental needs very seriously and we strive for quality dental work and patient comfort. We ask our patients to be understanding and patient in the recent change in dentists. Since the change in ownership in 2020 it has been difficult to find a dentist to relocate and practice dentistry in our area since it is such a rural community. But we have exciting news! In the near future we will be adding a dentist that was born and raised in our community and looks forward to treating patients from our community and local counties.
