Viking Medical Transportation is looking for a Non-Emergency Medical Transport driver to join our family owned and operated business dedicated to providing safe and reliable transport. We are looking for a physically strong and dependable driver to operate both wheelchair and gurney transports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital discharges etc.
- The role includes bending, squatting and pushing to secure wheelchairs in the vehicles. Lifting, transferring and securing gurneys transports.
- Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all clients. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid, clean driving record and clean background.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Be CPR certified or willing to become certified.
- Experience in non-emergency medical transport preferred.
- Physically able to lift and assist patients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for serving all walks of life.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- Punctuality and reliability is a MUST.
-Comfortable with working in a medical/hospital environment.

Viking Medical Transportation is looking for a non emergency medical driver/team member for both gurney and wheelchair transports for hospital discharges, medical appointments and dialysis. You will be a part of team that provides gurney/wheelchair transport to our customers. We will provide on the job training in all aspects of the job. Viking Medical Transportation is a company that started in Boise in 2019 and has expanded to the Twin Falls area and is needing an additional team member to provide services to our customers. This job is part time to start with and will eventually lead into full time as business grows.

Requirements of the job are;
-Over 21 years old (for insurance reasons).
-Clean Driving Record.
- Clean Background.
-Physically able to push/lift various weights in a wheelchair or gurney.
-Willing to become CPR/First Aid certified.
-Have a great attitude, be reliable and honest.
