RCJesus
This is the REAL RCJesus. This page is about all things RC, adventures in RC, and some full-size car
These are the best drivelines (trans and t-case) out there for your scale/crawler RCs. 😉
Well, I really like assembling these transmission sets! So small and clean, and no slop! The overdrive up front is a perfect bonus for scale rigs. These 2 are going in our new 1994 Discovery builds with dual axle radius arms!
This sounds cool!
New! Factory Team Decoupled Slipper Clutch Conversion Kit for the B74.2 and B74.2D! [ #92364]
This kit allows for the front drivetrain to spin free from the rear when off power and on the brakes. This gives your B74.2/D more off power steering and less front tire scrub without affecting on power steering and acceleration.
The guts of the trans are assembled and she turns and shifts smoothly. I'm calling it a night and we're off to bed. I should at least have the trans and axles assembled before we head back to FL on Monday.
What do you do when you made the huge mistake of forgetting the frame rails in FL, which are required for step one of the kit? You skip ahead to the transmission build. Whoops!!! 😁🤣
So true. Understeer is the worst!!!
After several hours split up between a couple of days, the backroom is usable again! Hooray!!! The shuffleboard table is all good to go, I got almost all of the junk and random crap cleared out, and everything is fairly organized. On our next trip, I'll put up some hooks so I can hang the planes off the wall above the shuffleboard table and that'll make a lot more space. It's about 98% done. I'm content. 😁
PLEASE, find our teams pic on this post and vote for us! 😁 We were in the lead by a good chunk when this started, but we've fallen behind now. We're still doing well, but additional votes via likes/loves/cares would be greatly appreciated. Remember, our rig isn't done yet and will be almost a perfect replica of the real truck when it's finished. Also, please comment on our pic as well because that counts positively for us too. The more comments the better. 😉 If you don't recall, our truck is the Monstrous Crew Cab and it has Blake Livelsberger-PA in the caption of the pic. ❤️
I'm so sorry for the show being canceled tonight and only being able to post now. We had an accident in the family this afternoon and just got home from the ER. It looks like all will be well, but it was potentially quite serious. We should be back for next week while I'm at Cabin Fever, so long as the hotel wifi is good enough for it.
They've been teasing it for several days, but now it's official! It's still not on the website, so the exact specs aren't out yet, although I'm sure they will be soon. The Team Associated B7D, ladies and gentlemen.
Edit: It has since been listed on the site since posting this originally, and a link added at the end of the OP. :D
The pallet looks a bit worse for wear, but otherwise my stuff for 27th Annual Cabin Fever Expo Model Engineering Show & Auctions arrived safe and sound to my buddy in NJ. 😁
Happy new year everyone!!! We're chilling and taking it easy up here for our first day. However, I did get my work area set up for the King Hauler build I'm starting tomorrow. I also did some looking around and planning to get the back room/RC hangar cleaned up and organized so it's not a total disaster, as pictured, anymore. 🤣
Does anyone else pack entire kits into a carryon to take on vacation and build? 🤣😂 There is a whole King Hauler kit in this bag, aside from the body. The shirts, towels, and socks are just filler. Lol
We are closed today and open up at noon tomorrow. 😉
An Old West theme for 2024 PLBTF, I like it! :D
On tonight's Thursday Night Jam With RCJesus and SASquatch we'll have Josh from RCeveryday on!!! You know it will be a night of laughs and shenanigans if Josh is on the show. lol He'll be talking about how he got into RC, his Rat Rod kits, and what his plans for the future are. Yes, we were supposed to have another guest on and discuss the RC10CC, but I've been left on not even seen all day in Messenger, so I have no idea what happened there... Oh well, the show must go on. ;)
Thursday Night Jam With RCJesus and SASquatch: Episode 34 - RCEveryday This week, we'll be talking to Josh, from RCEveryday! He's joining us to talk about how he got into the hobby, his Rat Rod kits, and what's coming from him ...
My RC Heavy Equipment is on it's way to a buddy in NJ. He will then bring it to me at Cabin Fever in PA. I'm so excited to hang with friends and play construction in a giant dirt box!!!! 😁🤣 The Mining Truck alone weighs 345 lbs in it's crate. 😬
Thug life! Lol
That's a sweet display/storage idea!
Conley Creton found a good use for old dirt bike tires! Perfect way to display your Losi Promoto-MX!

🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Merry Christmas all!!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful day with family and friends.
My buddy tagged me in this yesterday. Someday, I will have one of these, and a 73-80 squarebody set up in my house. I also want to make a seat in the garage someday with the rear end of a 2nd gen Bronco and the tailgate folds down for you to sit on. ;)
They showed up just in time, and we've still got most things in stock. If you're in CFL, we've got you covered.
After fulfilling preorders, we have 5 of the new Axial Adventure Jeep CJ-7 left in stock! 3 are grey and 2 are red. Come get them while you can, just in time for Christmas. 😉 We're only out of a couple of things as well, so if you're a last minute shopper, don't despair, we've got you. 😁
The scraper and grader are good to go and the radios are labeled. I dont like the way the graders sticks are set up, so it's one on the list for Frank to go through at Cabin Fever and setup how I want. As a Futaba guy, I can set one of those radios up in a few minutes, but these Flyskys are not my thing and Frank knows them well, so I'll have the FS radio master handle it. Lol
Unfortunately, there will be no Thursday Night Jam With RCJesus and SASquatch tonight. Chris is still battling a cold, I feel like I'm coming down with something and popping Zicam, and Brad from Element/AE got stuck at work finishing year-end stuff and couldn't make the show tonight. We've rescheduled for next week. The RC10CC unboxing and interview with Brad will now be next Thursday, 12/28. ;)
YES!!!!!
Huh, I wasn't expecting this. While 12th scale isn't a very large segment in crawling at all, I could see these being popular to build proper sized 1/10 Jeeps, Samauris, etc... At $200 bucks as a complete RTR with battery and charger, it's a pretty low-cost start to a project. What are your thoughts?
The ADT is fixed!! I even got all of the broken "glass" fixed, which I wasn't sure was doable. The cracks look pretty legit and scale. As someone with tremors, tedious little gluing jobs like this can get quite frustrating, but only one window gave me trouble; one of the little front angled pieces of the windshield. I'm happy with how it turned out. Who knows, maybe I won't even buy parts to fix it properly... Lol. Now, to see how it holds up getting jounced around in the back of a semi for 1000 miles. 🤣
