Another great weekend for our 12u team! They went undefeated in bracket play finishing 1st place in the gold bracket with a run rule in the championship game.
Saniyah was awarded MVP from one of our umpires. She had a GREAT weekend at the plate and was an absolute wall at catcher.
Our 12u team had a great start to their season! This was their very first tournament playing together as a brand new team. They competed in the NCS Super Series Shootout and took home 3rd place in the top bracket. We have seen incredible improvement from this team is such a short amount of time. We are super proud of this team and their coaches 💙 🧡

We are thrilled to announce that Logan Roberts is officially joining our coaching staff!
Logan is the current Head Coach of Red Oak High School and has 7 years of coaching experience. She will be helping out with our 16u team and will help prepare our athletes to play at the next level.
We are so excited to officially add Logan to our staff 💙🧡
Open workouts are starting next week! All workouts will be at the Texas Rip facility from 6:30-8:30. All of our head coaches are ex players looking to give back to the game. We are also very big on coaching the mental side of the game as well as getting our players ready for the top level.

Congratulations to our 12u team for bringing home 1st place last weekend in the USSSA Summer Slam 2k24. This team battled in the heat all weekend long and played great.
Saniyah, Lily, Kayla and Mac all made the all tournament team. Saniyah was chosen as the offensive MVP and Lily the defensive MVP of the tournament. We’re proud of these girls for representing our team and this organization well 💪🏼
Our 14u team competed in the USSSA Summer Sizzler and ended the weekend in 3rd place. Their record on the weekend was 4-1-1 taking their only loss in the semifinal game. These girls had another great weekend and were firing on all cylinders again. We are so proud of these girls for coming together and fighting every game 💙🧡
Congratulations to our 14u team for finishing 1st place in their bracket this weekend! These girls have been playing some great softball their past few tournaments and are really coming together as a team. They are the definition of gritty and don’t stop fighting until the final out. This weekend was a complete team effort and every single one of these girls stepped up when they needed to!

Our 14u girls placed 2nd in the silver bracket of the NCS “Touch all 4 for Autism” tournament. This team played some great softball all weekend long! Our pitching staff was on fire, defense made some great plays and our offense stepped up in tight situations. These girls fought hard all weekend long and were a lot of fun to watch!
Our championship game MVP was Hannah Drawzkowski. Hannah was in the circle for us and pitched a great game. She also hit a triple scoring 2 runs that put us ahead going into the last inning. Kendall, Addy and Brecken all hit over .400 this weekend and had an OBP of .600 or higher.
Congratulations to our 12u girls for placing 2nd in the USSSA Easter One Day Classic. These girls spent over 12 hours at the field finishing 5-1 for the tournament. They were undefeated on the day heading into the championship game where they fell just short losing by 1 run in an extra inning tiebreaker to a very talented team. Lily and Kayla carried us in the circle all day and continue to get better every weekend. Our defense was also on fire and got us out of some tight jams. Here are notable offensive stats below:

Congratulations to our 14u team for going undefeated all weekend and bringing home first place! These girls played some great softball and every single player stepped up to the plate when they were needed. We’ve seen some huge improvements from these girls in a very short amount of time.
Abella, Kendall, Lilly and Lilo all ended the weekend with an average of .500 or higher. Kendall was chosen as MVP of the championship game for an all around great performance. She came into the circle after we were down 5-3 and only gave up 2 hits, 0 walks and struck out 6. She was also 2-2 at the plate with 2 RBI’s.

Our 12u girls had another championship run this weekend ending as the finalists out of 22 teams in the NCS Battle for St Jude tournament! After losing their first bracket game Saturday night they had a long way to go to make it to the championship. On Sunday, they won 4 games in a row out scoring their opponents 33-1 before falling to a talented team in the championship game. This group has been on fire this season and they continue to get better every tournament! Way to go girls 🧡💙
Our 12u group played up in a 14u tournament this weekend and walked away as champions! This is the second tournament for this team and their second championship win. Our girls came to play this weekend and keep improving every tournament.
Our championship game MVPs were Lily and Lilo. Lily shined in the circle again leading this team to another win in the championship game. Lilo had a great weekend overall. She ended the weekend with a .429 average and made some great defensive plays to get us out of some tight situations. Kayla and Alivia both had themselves a weekend at the plate. Kayla ended the weekend with a .750 average and Alivia with a .667 average!

First tournament of the season for our 12u team, first championship win! Every single one of our players shined this weekend and stepped up when it was needed. With the addition of a few new faces, this team has come together quickly.
Our pitchers had themselves a weekend in the circle. Kayla faced 51 batters in total and struck out 25. Lily had an ERA of .000 for the entire weekend. She was also chosen as MVP of the championship game for pitching a great game and only giving up one hit. Brynlee was awarded the game ball of the championship game from the umpire for an outstanding diving catch in the outfield.
Saniyah, Lilo, Kayla, Brynlee, Mac and Savannah all finished this weekend with an average of .500 or higher.

Texas Rip will be hosting official tryouts next week at Centennial High School. All positions are open for both teams, pitchers are a bonus.

These girls came to compete in Colorado! We drew one of the toughest pools we could get but hung with some of the best teams and organizations in the country. We went undefeated through the bronze bracket and advanced into the championship bracket before losing out to the 2nd place team.
We could not be more proud of how these girls went out and played this week. Now to put in some work in the off season! It’s only up from here!
