Middle Georgia Elite 2009 will be having private tryouts for the fall season starting in July. If you’re interested in trying out please contact Jason Rogers (229)942-9574 to set up a private tryout. All tryouts will be keep confidential.

MGE is proud of these 4 for making their school ball teams.

Chandler Malone and Ava Collins will be playing for West Lauren’s High.

Carli Gibson will be playing for Fullington Academy High School.

Gold bracket champions!!!

Had a couple bumpy pool play games and found ourself the #5 seed of the gold bracket. When bracket started these girls got down to business. Eliminated the #4 seed in our first bracket game and didn’t stop there! Second bracket game was against the #1 seed and the girls came out swinging hard to eliminate them and move on to the championship game where we were able to overcome the #2 seed in a tuff international tie breaker!

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome #22 Carli Gibson to the MGE family. Carli is an 8th grader at Fullington Academy where she pitches and plays 2nd base for the Middle School and Varsity Trojans.She will come aboard to MGE as a pitcher and utility player who will do great any where she’s placed.

While not on the softball field, Carli lives running track, cross country, and playing basketball.

When Carli grows up she hopes to play softball for UGA or Alabama and major in sports management and become a

softball pitching coach.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #55 Chandler Malone. Chandler is an 8th grader at West Laurens Middle School where she locks down the middle infield at Shortstop for the Middle School team. MGE takes advantage of Chandler’s speed as she dominates centerfield and is unstoppable while on the bases.

Chandler played a big part in representing Georgia as they battled it out in the South East Regional tournament for Little league WS where they finished 3rd place in the Southeast!

Her favorite subject is math and while not on the softball field she enjoys hanging out with friends, playing any other sport, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves!

Chandler wishes to become an Orthodontist or an Dermatologist when she grows up.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #12 Gracie Ann Usher. Gracie is an 7th grader at Southland Academy in Americus where she catches and pitches for the Raiders Middle School softball team. Gracie blocks up home plate and is dynamite on 2nd base for MGE.

While not on the softball field she enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and hanging out with all her friends.

Gracie hopes to continue her softball career through her college years and become a teacher and coach softball when she grows up.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #11 Ava Collins. Ava is an 8th grader at West Laurens Middle School where she plays catcher for the Middle School team. Ava plays a big part in keeping base runners still while she blocks up home plate for MGE. She also holds down 3rd base and plays outfield when needed.

Ava played a big part in representing Georgia as they battled it out in the South East Regional tournament for Little league WS where they finished 3rd place in the Southeast!

Ava’s favorite subject is math and she enjoys hanging out with friends and cheering on the Georgia bulldogs.

Although she is a UGA fan, she hopes to continue her education at FSU and play college softball for them.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #9 Ann Marie DeFore. Ann Marie is an 7th grader at Mossy Creek Middle School in Houston County. She pitches and cheers for the Mossy Creek football team. She’s also a big part of MGE’s pitching staff and plays first base and some outfield.

While not on the softball field she enjoys her social life with all her friends and cheering on the Mossy Creek Gators.

Ann Marie wishes to attend FSU and play college softball.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #7 Lindy Hair. Lindy is an 8th grader at Westfield in Perry. She pitches and holds down the middle infield at shortstop for Westfield Middle School. She’s also a big part of MGE’s pitching staff and plays first base and some outfield.

While not on the softball field she enjoys hunting, cheering on UGA, and socializing with friends.

Lindy wants to attend UGA and become a Physical Therapist when she grows up.

Middle Georgia Elite 2009 would like to welcome back #32 Emma Hudgins. Emma is a 7th grader at John Milledge Academy and is a beast of a catcher for the middle school team. She’s also a big part of MGE’s catching staff and keeps base runners on their toes.

While not on the softball field she enjoys playing on the lake, playing basketball for JMA and her traveling basketball team. Emma also has a bit of a sweet tooth and love to bake.

Emma has all her doors open too what she might be when she grows up and the sky is the limit!

Her favorite subject is Social Studies and she wants to be a nurse when she grows up.

In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends, sleeping, and keeping her mama on her toes.
