OK I know you have seen all of my post on my page about the ADULT ONLY Virgin Voyages however, I really do want to give a travel business owner opinion about the experience. In case any of you are super serious about wanting to cruise The Scarlet Lady here are some of the amazing features that I love and maybe you will love them too.
I cannot tell it all or this post we go on for days,
but LONG POST ALERT 🚨 Here we GO:
🛌THE ROOM
We had a the Sea Terrace view which is a balcony. It was spacious roomie and very plush in my opinion for a cruise. The room was also automated with a handheld room control pad that controls everything from the curtains to the lights to the television. ALSO Every Sea Terrace has a hammock which brings me to my next fave….
🧘🏽♀️THE HAMMOCK
Now, this thing was absolutely amazing it made for the best photo shoots, but it really made for some amazing naps. It looks small, but it's stretched out to accommodate your whole body. You could swing and watch the ocean go by. The awesome thing about these hammocks is that they are made, especially from certain materials that Virgin Voyages procure the services of women on the islands - an amazing way to give back to the culture of the people.
🛎️ 💕THE ROOM SERVICE
In one word -IMPECCABLE, the lovely Dragana was our person for the duration of our cruise. In addition, to being super adorable, she had the most alluring and beautiful accent and personality that one can imagine. She told us that she was a 15 year veteran to this industry, and this CRUISE LINE, and this ship specifically. I know she had other rooms to take care of but she made us feel like we were the only ones.
✨THE WRIST BANDS
Called : “THE BAND” wearable tech made from recycled ocean plastic, contains a unique encrypted ID that allows the crew to see EVERYthing about that sailor…which means you can leave the room, hands free - The Band matches the Sailor wearing it… Great for convenience, and security too!
🥗THE FOOD
There are no self serves or buffets on this cruise line, which I absolutely love. There are many restaurants on board, and they are all included in the price of your cruise. You don't have to pay extra to dine in them. However, the main food in the Galley was delicious as well - so many options for me. I am a vegetarian, and I never grew bored of the meals that I can eat.
🎪THE SHOWS
Absolutely not your ordinary run of the mill redone Broadway stuff that you have seen before. I am still amazed at how these aero-acrobats defy gravity aboard a moving vessel, when I could barely walk and talk at the same time when the ship was moving! LOL truly a delight.
👀THE PARTIES
OOoohhhh the parties!! That's all I'm gonna say about that you just have to cruise to know… remember LOL ADULT ONLY
Honestly, I could go on and on, but I do not want to spoil all of the surprises for you. I will however tell you - although I am NOT an avid cruiser and have even said that I don't care for cruises - I would most definitely do this again.

My Story
Hello! My name is Lawanda Baker. I am a new comer to the travel industry but I have enjoyed a life travel at an early age. When I originally got started in the industry, I booked a little business travel but moved on quickly to become a Disney Specialist. This is a natural fit for me because my second home is Orlando Florida. I spent many summers and holidays there with my grandmother. Of course most of Orlando’s attractions became my playground.
As I began to gain more insight into this multi faceted world of recess I began to dive deeper into the cruises and guided tours offered by Adventures by Disney that extend into the Caribbean, Mexico, France and beyond. A Whole New World INDEED! (Pun intended ;) Once that door was opened there was no turning back!
So now, Instead of focusing on any single aspect, I prefer to attend to all of my clients’ business and leisure travel needs. In a given day I may research family vacations in the Caribbean, romantic weekend getaways, plan a business trip to Asia or the Middle East, secure meeting space for a small corporate account, or book tickets to the hottest sports attraction of the moment. I enjoy the variety and excitement of this method, particularly the opportunity to satisfy my clients’ most specific wishes and interests.
Also, I am Marriott and Club Med Certified, and I operate through my host agency with a Diamond CLIA certification!
In addition, through my business I have the pleasure of being able to offer others the opportunity to become travel agents as well. If you have ever booked travel for friends or just enjoy it as a hobby and would like to turn that into a business, I would be delighted to help you do just that! I am a part of a team of incredible travel and business experts who specialize in helping others find their place in this industry as Certified Travel Agents.
Outside of travel, I enjoy creating beautiful art, giving back to the community through service to my church and with my sorority.
