Attention all BHEP students,

Please SUBMIT your 2023 Fall Semester/Quarter GRADES to the BHEP. If your grades are not submitted before the next semester/quarter your scholarship will be put on hold until we receive them in our office. We also need a copy of your 2024 spring class schedule or 2024 Winter quarter schedule.

Between Native American Heritage Month and National Scholarship Month, it’s almost too perfect for us here at the Cobell Scholarship Program! 🎓🪶✨

Through centuries of hardships, Native American People have endured, and continue to thrive today. During November let’s take time to learn about, share, and appreciate the Wisdom, Resilience, and diverse Cultures of Indian Country. We are still here!

Scholarship applications will be opening soon! Make sure to get your applications started and submitted! The 2024/2025 Cobell Undergraduate and Graduate applications open on December 15, 2023!

The 2nd Higher Ed Payment for fall semester and Qtr has been sent out to all colleges on 10/23/23 please check with your college business/financial aid office by the end of the week.

TO ALL HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS ON THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. HIGHER ED DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT HAND DELIVER CHECKS DIRECTLY TO A STUDENT OR FAMILY MEMBER. IT STATES RIGHT IN THE HANDBOOK , AND GUIDELINES THAT ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE SENT TO YOUR COLLEGE BUSINESS OFFICE OR FINANCIAL AID OFFICE, AND IT IS UP TO THE COLLEGE TO RELEASE THE SCHOLARSHIP IF THE STUDENT DOESN'T HAVE A BALANCE. IF A STUDENT HAS A BALANCE THE SCHOLARSHIP WILL GO TOWARDS PAYMENT FOR THE STUDENT, AND IF THERE IS A BALANCE LEFT THE COLLEGE WILL RELEASE THE BALANCE TO THE STUDENT.

ALSO,

THE BLACKFEET HIGHER EDUCATION WILL NOT RELEASE ANY INFORMATION TO ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR ANYBODY UNLESS THERE IS A RELEASE OF INFORMATION FROM THE STUDENT. THIS ALSO IS IN THE POLICY.

Let me introduce My dad to you Lloyd Boss Racine.
He was born on the Blackfeet Reservation, grew up on Milk River. He had a love for animals, his favorite pet a duck name ugly and his horse Lady Bug and a dog Bobby socks. My dad liked to learn, he loved stories and creativity. Boss man believed in second chances, not letting fear stop you from getting the future you want and being true to yourself.

We would like to gift a graduating senior from Browning public school with a scholarship.

4 Days to go and here are 4 things about References. The 2023/2024 Cobell Scholarship Applications require someone to submit a Reference on your behalf. If you don't already have a Reference submitted, consider the following:

-- A Reference Request can be sent from your OASIS Scholarship Application Portal and if needed, you can send a reminder every 24 hours.
-- Check that the Reference email is spelled correctly. (If a correction needs to be made, please let us know)
-- When choosing a Reference, select someone who knows you well and can submit a quality Referral for you.
-- Once the March 31 Deadline has passed, Reference information can no longer be updated.

And of course, ask questions! The Cobell Scholarship Team is standing by to assist!

Glacier Electric's Energy For Tomorrow Scholarship is now open for local high school seniors. We will award ten local high school seniors to each receive a $1,000 scholarship to any college or trade school. Applications are due March 20th and can me found at your local high school or on our website:
