FYI…This will affect everyone, not just ranchers and cattlemen but anyone who enjoys public use lands.
BLM’s latest proposed rule would make it easier to eliminate multiple uses like grazing on federal lands by leasing lands for an undefined “conservation” purpose. PLC is leading the grazing industry’s engagement, but BLM also needs to hear from YOU.
The public comment period will remain open through June 20. Five public meetings are scheduled before then:
- May 15: Virtual meeting #1
- May 25: Denver, Colorado
- May 30: Albuquerque, New Mexico
- June 1: Reno, Nevada
- June 5: Virtual meeting #2
