Uniquely tied to both Nations, I am grateful and thankful for the service of the United States Military and the Canadian armed forces veterans who serve to protect our freedoms and those who have died in the line of duty. Both are observed November 11.

It was great seeing a familiar face in a new country. What an awesome experience training alongside in Canada. Such an incredibly hard-worker and unbelievably motivated. Can’t wait to see you compete at Worlds!

We would like to thank everyone who reached out to us through social media concerned by our absence at US Championships. While we did intend to compete, Aza and I eventually decided we weren’t ready.
For those who may not be aware, my wife returned home to Canada to care for her mother. Given the severity and time frame of the situation, It was critical for all of us to be in Canada together so we could provide both the physical and emotional support to my wife during this difficult time.
While we are grateful to the gyms in Canada who have opened their doors to us these past few months, gymnastics has not been our main focus and our training has not been consistent. Gymnastics is our love and an integral part of our lives, but family is and will always be our first priority.
We are overwhelmed by all the love and support we have received from our gymnastics family, including our World Class Home who, from the very beginning, was there for us. We do plan to compete for the 2023 season however, we are learning to take one day at a time. We miss being home, we miss being at World Class. While we are in Canada, we will continue to share our journey with you all via photos and videos in the near future.

Seeing an old friend dominate in a sport she loves and has embraced. Congrats on an amazing performance. Literally the youngest at competition and probably fastest hurdler in the nation right now! Impressive form and technique but what else would you expect from a former gymnast!🥰🥰

Flipping Fridays? Well ok let’s get it in. 1.5 to 2.5 punch front making it look easy! I’m just having as much fun as possible with the time that I have been given.
Throw back to an 11 year old azaraya getting ready for Devo camp. I really miss these days. Look at how tiny and adorable she was. Not bad routine for an 11 year. ✨
Can we make a thing! Here we have a video of Azaraya doing her Arabian double front pike half out into free foam. Definitely can put a mat in and can definitely do this on rod floor. Would love to see this on floor someday! ✨
I don’t know why I don’t post more failed vids because they are hilarious and I have tons! She was trying to perform her full in at the end of her floor routine but we aren’t quite ready just yet. Soft mats for moments like this so we can take some risk and keep it moving! Love her heart and determination!

Haha!! Digging through the crates and look at what I found. Devo camp pictures with Azaraya and ! I’m so glad my wife forced me to take these pictures because at that moment I didn’t realize how important capturing these moments would be to me and my family! Hours and hours of videos and to think 🤔 I had to be forced to take them. Thanks for being a great wife and mother! I love you soooo much!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Our first national team camp was a total success! I was totally impressed by how she handled herself and the pressure. She was there to be seen and wanted to be seen. We have so much more to show and the grind just got real for us. Only difference is that we are going to have fun the whole way. Selection camp in 40 days. Prepare yourself!
So yeah I know the video stops abruptly because the guy videoing didn’t realize she was doing a whole routine. I really like this routine and it only needs two more upgraded skills to be complete for next years junior elite season. Video credit to

Sorry we haven’t posted in a long time but it’s was necessary to give the gram a little rest. Now we back in business baby! How about triple back on tumble track for the gram.
A little upgrade work we were trying to get in before USA championships. I opted out of trying to push her to do more versus just being consistent and stress free. It was the right decision to make because day 2 we had some issues behind the scenes with our bar routine. I would much rather her have that stress with an easier routine than an upgraded one. Very proud of her and her performance on bars this year! She was able to complete her first junior elite season with zero falls on bars.

Well ya girl did it! She qualified to USA 🇺🇸 Championships! It was the craziest 🤪warmup for her and not even close to her best performance but she came in fourth and handle herself like a boss! I always tell her that everyone does well on the good days but only champions do well on the bad. Today was really a bad day. She just felt off but she handled it like a champion. Dad is so proud! 🇺🇸
