Big Loop Trails

Telluride valley floor trail rebuilding and maintenance! Weird amount of unskilled tourists with inappropriate bike setups and gear on this trail. Apparently renting bikes and trying to get to brewery…

Telluride Wasatch loop! Beautiful and burly with an almost 5k climb and techy descent. Nice riding on the bear creek mtb trail I was able to help build.

Finished up machine work on new stegosaurus trail above Telluride! Mountain Village is still doing some hand finish work. Parallels Jurassic trail on south side. Also finished new Big Billy’s route from lift 1 up to Jurassic intersection for another trail option

CT Blackhawk loop! One of my favorite rides and lucky to have it just up the Dolores river! Also scouted ryman for this weekends SWCCA / RTA trailwork camp out party, gunna be fun!

Nice ride checking out the new goods on rgs/burnett and a scotch CT salt loop! Saw lots of friends and met some new ones!

Finished up the machine work on the Burnett Connector trail for Rico Trails Alliance!

Finished up another trail to complete a loop at Rancho Sendero. Nice climb to a view. I think that rock butte in the background is on the late author Louis L’Amour’s ranch. Beautiful valley!

Finished up machine building on new upper merve for Durango Trails! They are still doing hand finish work. It’s soft and needs some moisture up there to pack in, but gunna be nice and flowy!

Finished up the machine work adding 3+ miles of flow in Pinetop-Lakeside AZ! New trail is off south Blue Ridge trail. TRACKS will be doing hand finish work starting Monday to buff out tread, remove loose rocks and roots. Hung with the peeps at during my stay, great coffee and eats!

Spring break riding in the desert! Rode over a rattle snake, rode inches from a Gila monster (only deadly US lizard), almost ran over a second Gila same ride. Unique challenges in the remote Sonoran desert. Good times, but don’t rub against anything and avoid reptiles…

Merry Christmas!

Quick day trip to Moab yesterday for a ride! Shorts and t-shirt weather and only saw 2 other peeps! Although town is noticeably more crowded this time of year than it used to be. Good times!

Happy Thanksgiving from the desert! Got some snow to plow when I get home but dry singletrack and nice riding temps for now.

Finished up at Rancho Sendero for the season! Started the day out in a t-shirt then got a little snow flurry at the top. Found a perfect drainage for a loooong flowy downhill section to build in the spring.

Rancho Sendero trail building continues! Installed roll-over, culvert and moving fence. Working on a climbing trail with lots of switchbacks and great views.

More Rancho Sendero trail construction! Starting the next loop. Till the snow flies but forecast looks good.

Blackhawk loop and almost November! Getting every last bit! Little snow on the north aspects but perfect shorts and t-shirt temps. Weather is shifting towards desert riding season tho! Luv the options living between the mountains and desert.
