Stratton Briggs set the VMS Motorsports Quick Time!!! Last night with a 17.722 lap at Eldora Speedway

The Performance Powder Coating LLC Hard Charger Award was shared by the 2nd, 3rd and 5th place finishers in the Feature at Eldora Speedway. All three were +5. (L-R) Jakeb Boxell (5th), Stratton Briggs (2nd), Michael Magic (3rd).

Stratton Briggs received the Performance Powder Coating LLC ‘Hard Charger’ award for his +8 after starting on the tail following his heat race accident. Luke Hall and Bryce Dues were +6, and Jakeb Boxell and Ian Creager were both +5.

Due to the current rain and rain overnight along with an unfavorable forecast for this evening into tonight, we are canceling tonight's Family Fun Night. Many of the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets teams are coming from 2-4 hours away and we'd hate to get them here and have the rain hit.

Dirt Trucks will race for double the money next Saturday, May 11th, to make up for their canceled feature on Saturday, April 27th.

SBM is ready for action tomorrow night at Moler raceway park to hopefully get a start on the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets season.

SBM will be making there first appearance of the season this Saturday at Waynesfield Raceway Park. We look forward to getting the season underway with the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets. Be sure to come out and support!

Our 2022 Champion, Stratton Briggs, landed in the 3rd spot in the 2023 USAC SpeeD2 Midwest Thunder Midgets presented by Performance Electronics, Ltd. Season Championship. This was the 7th consecutive year that Stratton has finished 3rd or better in the MTM points standings. Stratton split time this season between his #71 TripleX/Honda and the #21 Ripper/Ecotec owned Tom Fedorczyk. He is sponsored by ThrillSeeker LLC, Stratton Briggs Motorsports, Briggs Farms, Superior Bearings Supply, Ashley Elizabeth Photography, Rosewood Machine & Tool, Patricks Pub &Grill, Aesthetic Finishers, Jason Dietsch Collision, Whites Honda, Chef Jake, Russell Moore, and Hawk Brakes. Stratton's trademark has always been his consistently high finishes, and this season was no exception with twenty top 10 finishes, fifteen top 5's and five top 3's in 23 starts. He was also dominate in the heats, with ten wins (tied for first), and picked up one VMS Motorsports "Quick Time!!' award and two Performance Powder Coating LLC Hard Charger awards.
