We are supposed to be poor! That was Jesus’ first and opening statement at the sermon on the Mount. We are supposed to be poor, meaning completely empty-handed to be really rich in the kingdom. No self-righteousness, no performances, no striving. Those currencies don’t work in the economics of the Kingdom of God. Only sincerity, empty-handedness, and hungry mouths and tummy for his righteousness and kingdom.

A word of encouragement to all prophetic people:
Before you prophesy be sure to be in a healthy state of mind, soul and spirit. Why? Prophecy is rooted in love and self-love is a huge part of it. You will only love your neighbor to the capacity you are able to love yourself (Matt. 22:39).
Inner healing is not a requirement to the gift of prophecy, but the lack of it will surely affect the way you see the Father, yourself and others.
What then is a requirement? Love is.
