Are you a chameleon?

Do you become whoever you need to fit in any situation?

This showed back up for me yesterday in my mastermind group. I realized that another layer of my “I am not enough” voice had a deeper part to it.

It was that nobody wanted me to be me. I was supposed to be seen and not heard as a little child. You know the “sit down and shut up”. My dad needed me to show up in a certain way, so that he felt good about himself.

I had to be whoever was needed for the situation.

As I grew older, I relied on my ability to become whomever I needed to fit in to any group or situation. In some ways that served me. But it completely got in the way of me being me or even knowing who I was.

It showed up yesterday in my belief that I am not good enough that other people are doing better than me even my clients are more amazing and achieving more than me.

That people will never want to see me, I can’t be myself.

Arrrrgh, I can’t believe it showed up again.

But this time as I recognized it for what it was, I noticed that it dissipated quickly the energy of it moved through my body as I spoke about it.

When it cleared, it left me feeling lighter, more open and more of myself.

The stuck feeling I had been having the past few days cleared quickly as soon as I was able to recognize where it was coming from and then being able to speak about in my group.

The thing is the voices seem to not really ever go away, they find different ways of showing up in a deeper layer. But the good thing is after doing the work I have done they get released quickly and the thing that holds me back is gone.

Somethings I notice really quickly others can take a few days to find the clarity around the stuck-ness.

Working in my group helps those things clear faster.

For you working with a coach is the way to go to figure out how to move past your voices.

We really can’t do it on our own.

Finding support is key.

When we let the thoughts and feelings move from inside ourselves to outside, we become congruent - our inside and outside align authentically.

As long as we hold it in,
Stuff it down,
Bypass it away,
Suck it up,
The inner conflict continues.

The art of release is profoundly simple, but not easy...the horse knows the way.
