Who needs some books?

📚 Ready to stock up on some new books for your home or your classroom?
Join us for our annual Book Giveaway on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the East Middle School Cafeteria and Gymnasium.

✏️ This event will have a variety of materials including, textbooks, novels, manipulatives, school supplies, etc.

🎒 Don't forget to bring a cart or a bag to haul your new books!

Well, we are almost there Mustangs! One more week of school and it's summer time🌞🎉....We need parent and guardian help rounding up library books, athletic gear, and Chromebooks that students may still have. Please look around and ask your student if they have these items and please help get them back to school so we have these resources next year! Thank you for your support!❤️

We wanted to remind you that Central's Freshman Open House is Wednesday, April 24, 3:30-5:30. They will have fun stuff for new students and parents including
popcorn, swag, and music!

It's such a super busy time of year!
Don't forget this upcoming week we have three full days-Monday is a Solar Eclipse- and then Thursday and Friday students are off. Track is up and running literally 😅Music concerts are planned, State testing is still going on, 6th grade will be off to OWL, Parent-teacher conference night on April 24th will include our community fun night including our color run event, Don't miss it!
We'll be done before you know it....please look out for emails from teachers and the school to stay informed!

Next week get ready to celebrate the end of Quarter 3....it's all downhill from here Mustangs

🚧 📱 TONIGHT: Bookcliff Middle School is hosting a Social Media Safety Presentation. Bookcliff students have been investigating if social media is more risky or more rewarding for teens. As adults, we will dive into how we can encourage teens to make better decisions using social media and how can we help keep them safe.

Kati Garner with the Colorado Office of School Safety will discuss:
- Dangers of each social channel
- Laws
- Hidden Applications
- Monitoring Options

DIA@BMS teachers presented at La Cosecha, a Dual Language Conference in New Mexico last month..

Our last week before the holiday starts this week and we kick it off with spirit week....It is student/staff switch Monday.. So dress like your teachers and your teachers will dress like kids 🙃🤣

Girls basketball 🏀 is starting 11/27 bright and early for 7th grade at 6:30 a.m., 8th grade will practice at 3:30! Girls may still join this week!!!

Ms. Ashley, the wonderful Aides and students in her classes prepared their annual Turkey feast for the staff ...they are truly part of the heart of BMS♡

•ADOPT A FAMILY FUNDRAISER🦃
We are raising money to support a few of our students and their families during the holidays. We provide essentials like winter clothing, household items like sheets, food for the holidays, as well as a few gifts for the kiddos. The fundraiser is coupled with a competition. Each year, the two teachers with the most money in their jars dress up like turkeys, and dance in front of the school during an assembly. Please support our kiddos and their families by donating! It's hard To believe that we are halfway through our second quarter!! Thanks to all the parents and students who attended our parent-teacher conferences this evening! Also a huge shout out to Qdoba on 12th street for providing our busy teachers and staff with an amazing dinner, as we met with families and students....

Just an update.... Boys 8th grade A/B basketball Monday 10/30 between CRA and Bookcliff 8th grade A/B-boys basketball teams at home, have been cancelled.
All away games are still going to play🏀 Thanks for your ongoing understanding...

Hello families....just a reminder that there are three non-student days beginning this week. Thursday is a work day for the end of the quarter, Friday is an Inservice day for teachers, and Monday is a no contact day. Hopefully students will be recharged and ready for second quarter on Tuesday 17th!
