The ideal composition of the fats that you consume is a complex subject. One thing is for sure, though; A diet too low in fats will severely affect your health, wellbeing, and performance.
Fats are vital for many more aspects than listed in the illustration. The proper absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K depends on sufficient fat intake. In other words, low-fat consumption leads to further nutrient deficiencies in the long run. Fat quality, of course, makes a huge difference.
My favorite fat sources are olives, avocados, salmon, eggs, butter, and fatty cuts of meat from high-quality sources. Like with every other nutrient, the key is to consume whole natural foods and avoid processed foods. Overheating fats, hydrogenated fats, and extracted fat that need massive amounts of energy for the extraction process doesn't have a place in human nutrition.
If you're interested in improving your physical and cognitive abilities systematically with the right dietary and lifestyle behavior, please send me a dm. It would be my pleasure to work with you 1:1.

Wow! Agree that sugar & ultra- processed food subsidies are bad public policy!
The Australian government gives junk food producers 5 billion dollars in tax subsidies each year!!!! 1 billion dollars to Coca-Cola alone...
As Dr James Muecke writes: - "The results are disturbing. Through a plethora of tax breaks, many of the largest companies paid essentially 0% in taxes. This means we’re incentivising these companies to make us sick, through our Australian tax system!
"This is plainly outrageous. We need to beat the lobbyists at their own game. Rather than focus on individuals through a myriad of victim-blaming approaches, we need to demand political action as we stand in solidarity with those who battle to remain healthy within our transparently rigged and unhealthy food environment.
"We must organise and demand policymakers change these deadly laws. It’s well past time for our governments to act to end the harmful policies causing such needless devastation and deaths."
