Amazing transformation here for Jayda!!

Jayda came to us with:

🔹Crossbite on the left side
🔹Severe underbite
🔹Underdeveloped upper jaw
🔹Spacing between her upper and lower teeth

One of the reasons it is recommended to see an orthodontist at the age of 7 is that if we notice the jaws or teeth are growing improperly, we can intervene and correct it. For Jayda, we were able to use rubber bands to a facemask to promote forward upper jaw growth. If she waited to see us when she was older, this correction may not have been possible or much more difficult. Jayda's upper jaw grew forward during treatment and she now has a proper bite, which allows for proper chewing and functioning.

We will now monitor her on an annual basis until all of her adult teeth are in, but we are so excited this early treatment was able to give her new smile and healthy bite!🤩✨

GUMMY SMILE TRANSFORMATION🤩

Ky’rah came to us with:

🔹Excessive gingival display
🔹Upper spacing

Ky’rah was initially looking to correct her spacing and did not know that orthodontic treatment could also help improve her gummy smile. Most orthodontists would recommend surgery to correct her gummy smile, but with the use of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), we were able to give her a solution without surgery! These TADs are used to move the upper teeth and gums up to lessen the amount of gums that show when she smiles.

After the braces came off, we also performed a laser gingivectomy to lengthen her upper teeth and give her a bigger, brighter smile. In just a year and a half, we have not only transformed a smile, but we have given Ky’rah more self confidence and a new reason to smile!😁🤩

Here is an amazing Transformation for John-Paul🤩

John-Paul came to us after his daughter started treatment and asked us if we could help him with his bite. Due to excessive lower jaw growth, he only touched on his front teeth, causing an open bite in the back teeth.

For Zayd, Dr. Jenn worked with the lab to design a special expander that would correct the crossbite with a built-in tongue trainer to help Zayd with his tongue thrust. They were not only successful on correcting his crossbite, lower jaw asymmetry and open bite, but Zayd no longer has a tongue thrust because of the tongue trainer that was included in his orthodontic plan. Because we did this first phase of orthodontic treatment, we set him up for symmetric jaw growth later in life and helped stop a tongue habit early that could have gotten worse with age.
