let’s talk a minute to appreciate 🌷 : tulips are such playful blooms offering so much movement-they can dance around the outskirts of an arrangement, they will reach for the sun, elongating their stems after being cut and a simple reflex of their petals transforms them to be a show stopping focal flower.
i fell in love with tulips a handful of years ago. sometimes a flower just seems more special or magical all of a sudden…

💧 i’m back in portland

💻 i recently started a remote job in flowers! what?! it’s for a non profit…and kind of a dream. i’m super excited about it. and will share more soon. drop your tips for staying organized online!

🌼i’m still freelancing and excited about working with some of my favorite peeps this season!

i’m also looking forward to turning this page into more of a way to share my art… i’m really leaning into working for others. it makes me happy.

knot & fern was never intended to be just me. i love her for helping me grow and learn sooo much but it’s tough to carry the weight of a business alone. for me it was always about community! i’m happy that i get to embrace where i’m at and stop just “surviving”. i have a very optimistic and warm feeling about this year. i can’t wait to see where i go and who i meet on the way!

over the years i’ve tried to identify/define my design style and i simply cannot land on just one. i love variety! the same goes for my personal style. some days i’m in my docs, wearing all black and other days i’m rocking a cowboy hat, red lips + fringe. ✨

i want every client to feel seen + heard and to be flexible in my offerings. i also want to keep things fun and interesting! so, giddy up Bakersfield! i’ve got some fun collaborations in the works + can’t wait to share my designs with all of you. 🤍
