Pirate Ship: STEM At Home Activity — Vivify STEM To support students during school closings, Vivify is launching a STEM Space At Home weekly video series! Tune in every Thursday for a new STEM activity, led by an engineer, and using materials you can find at home. This week’s challenge: Pirate Ships!

Man oh man am I missing our STEM Club kiddos!

My son and I created a “donut mobile” using an empty popcorn box, 4 wheels from a Rubbermaid cart that weren’t being used, and some jumbo craft sticks. Plus paint, of course! Nothing special but we enjoyed making it together, it turned out pretty great 👍🏼

STEM Club starts tomorrow after school. Remember, your child can bring a quick snack to enjoy before we start.
Pickup is at 4:30 in the STEM lab.
There will be about 15 minutes to grab a snack and use the restroom before we begin each week. Students are welcome to bring a quick after school snack to enjoy before club starts.
Quick snack ideas: granola bar, pop-tart, carrot sticks, crackers, an apple, bottled water, etc. Students will not be permitted to bring snacks and drinks into the lab.
