The PC Pickles won first place in the “Strikeout for Veterans” IBT tournament to finish their magical fall season. We struggled a bit in the championship game, but in true “PICKLE” fashion, rallied back to secure the win. Ending with three FIRST place championships, one second and a final record of 17-2-1 over five tournaments. What a good run we had and it was made possible by the hard work and determination of all of our players. They showed up each week wanting to practice hard and get better and that is exactly what they did. Our incredible coaching staff made all of this possible and loved being surrounded by players who genuinely love the game. Larry Volmert

The Parker County Pickles took home the gold once again in the “Doubled Up in Crowley” IBT baseball tournament this weekend. Evan Montgomery won an MVP ring for his “in the park homerun” with bases loaded in the semi-finals. We had a great time playing our Aledo friends in the championship game. Preston Healey and Vance Dobias both won MVP rings in the final game when Healey gave up zero runs pitching in two innings and reliever Dobias secured the win for us at the end. Our defense was amazing and it was a team effort throughout the day.

Parker County Pickles won Sunday’s tournament in dramatic fashion. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the fifth when the Pickles scored with bases loaded. Leaving the ball fields after 12 hours at almost midnight sure is sweeter with a gold ring!!

The PC Pickles had a great weekend of baseball at the Crankin’ It In Crowley 11u IBT tournament. After a wild rally in the semi-finals where they came back from behind by five runs, The Pickles made it to the championship game. We ultimately got second place but what a fun day of it was.

After winning NINE straight games…the Aledo Pirates finally lost by one run in the championship game NCS Summer Daze tournament. Two long days at the ballpark and every single player contributed to these wins.

The Aledo Pirates won the silver in our playoff tournament last night from our weekly Burleson league. They lost to a great team and we are thankful for what our kids learned here this season.

The Aledo Pirates played in the NCS tournament April 9/10th. It was a long day of baseball as it always is when you are playing in the championship game. Our boys battled against a AAA team and ultimately won second place in the tournament. Proud of them and looking forward to more.
