Progress being made on the Hay Shed. Just in time for second cutting.
First cutting ready to go. 229 still left in the shed.
Hopefully we get 5-6 rain free days so we can put the 336 baler to work.
Dirt work for the new hay shed and pond are underway. Such a great view. Hopefully the new field of Alfalfa will be planted later this week.
The new Facebook/Meta rule starts tomorrow where they can use your photos. Don't forget the deadline is today! This could be used in lawsuits against you. Everything you've ever posted is posted today - even messages that have been deleted. It doesn't cost anything, just copy and post, better than regretting later.

Field prep work on Alfalfa field number #3. Jordan putting a few hours on the 4010.
The John Deere 4010 looks good with the Hay rack.
First location picked up on Saturday moving on to the second field on Sunday.
180 Alfalfa small square bales for sale. Very high quality hay for $6.50 per bale. 65-70 pound bales on average. Located at our Madison location. If we can help you out with some quality hay please call or text Alan at 402-992-2655 At our Seward County location we have 150 Alfalfa small square bales for $5.50 per bale.
Finally found a little time to put the first coat of Ford “Red” on the boys trailer. The time has come to get it out of the shop to start on a few other projects prior to warmer weather and the first cutting of hay.
Jon and Barry’s trailer makeover underway. No John Deere Green on this one. Time will tell after the primer is applied.
Rough sand on the boys hay trailer frame today. More work to come.
Second stand of the year at the Utica site looks pretty good at this point but another rain would help.

1st cutting up just in time before the rain. It appears to be some quality Hay.
First cutting on the ground today at the Madison site. Hopeful square bales will get done later this week. Jon getting it done today with the Tar River 165 drum mower.
Alfalfa at 20 inches just need some warm dry weather to finish things up. Hay rack finally done and Tar River drum mower getting set up for future use. It looks like a great first cutting in a couple weeks.
