In 1998, Way Quoe Long was charged with conspiracy to manufacture ma*****na. After over 20 years in prison, with the help of LPP, his sentence was commuted in 2020. Earlier this year, he had the supervised release portion of his sentence terminated early.

We are incredibly grateful that we were able to help bring Way home and reunite him with his family. But a few months ago, Way suffered a stroke. Not only did Way lose some of his memory, but he was unable to work and his finances have been put under strain.

Good. Among a sea of corporate-captured judges and corrupt politicians, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has consistently sided with American workers, American farmers, and everyday people across our country. We need more people like her in our courts at every level.

Huge win, but by slim margins. It’s moving on to the Senate next, we must unite and encourage our Senators to vote Yah and end this decades long drug war. 37+ states it’s been legalized or decriminalize and over 60,000+ still sit behind bars today. Thousands of families are denied housing, employment and other benefits because of their cannabis related criminal records. Let’s end this Social Injustice now, not later. House passes legislation decriminalizing ma*****na Congress has tried, unsuccessfully, to pass this type of legislation before to decriminalize ma*****na.

Take note of every lawmaker who voted “Nay” and failed as the bill advances to the Senate. Those who vote to continue criminalizing ma*****na when it has already been legalized or decriminalized in 37+ states aren’t listening to their constituents and are supporting Racism and continuing the War on Drugs

House Votes to Decriminalize Cannabis Democrats, with some Republican support, voted 220-204 to remove ma*****na from the federal list of controlled substances, moving to catch up to the states.

The MORE Act, sponsored by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) is being voted on this week. This looks piece of legislation is expected to pass the House of Representatives as it did last year, but the split Senate may “Nay” it out again like last year.

If this bill doesn’t pass, an injustice will continue to occur every day someone sits behind bars for using ma*****na, even with a Medical Ma*****na recommendation by a Board Certified Physician. Many states legal systems, including Children Services, Probation and Parole justify sending people back to prison for using it, even though they abstained from everything else, much more dangerous related to substance use, gained employment, housing and have improved all areas of their lives with one exception. The courts disruption hurting their lives and keeping families torn apart.

President Zelensky is the definition of a true leader being on the front lines fighting for his country’s freedom. He understands that quill and ink won’t end Putin’s dictatorship. He knows that when Hi**er was given an inch, he took the continent. This is what a leader looks like. He creates unity, not division and is on the ground fighting along side the citizens that voted him into office. That cannot be said of what we have witnessed these past several years in the United States. 🇺🇦 Ukraine 🇺🇦

Meanwhile both the Federal and State governments are benefiting from millions in tax revenue from distribution of both medical and recreational cannabis. This is a perfect example of corruption in both the law making and legal system that targets marginalized populations.

Primarily, rich white dispensary owners profit from cannabis sales, while other individuals doing the same are locked up and incarcerated with lengthy prison time. Sentences are often longer than those of actual violent offenders. Our prisons are already overcrowded with people smoking ma*****na in states, 37+ that have decriminalized it in some capacity causing the U.S. to incarcerate more people than any other country. If we release non violent cannabis related offenders, this will save substantial money that can be redirected towards treatment and services.

Pass the MOORE Act 2022 and put Republicans, Democrats and 3rd Party on notice for those who vote against it that they will be voted out and replaced. We must end Ma*****na Prohibition now, this has gone on long enough.

The cost of selling $20 worth of ma*****na? For Kevin Allen, a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
