👉🏽Lego Math Club hands-on educational activity for teaching mathematical concepts through modeling, problem-solving, and reasoning. The goal is to create learning experiences through playful, hands-on real-life activities. LEGO bricks provide a learning environment for modeling a wide range of mathematical problems.
👉🏽Story Time Art Club: We will start all classes by reading a story and talking about the illustrations. We will then move on to create a project that will have a similar theme to our story. During these classes children will be introduced to different styles of art. They will have the opportunity to use a large variety of art materials and textiles. We will encourage them to explore different textures, colors, and shapes. We will end most classes with a fun song that also ties into the theme of our story and art project.
👉🏽Phonics Club: Learners will practice and apply the decoding skills necessary to help them learn how to read three letter CVC words, and they will also be introduced to blends. Students will learn letter sounds and have interactive games tailored to phonics!
