Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to promote Express Mobile Phlebotomy at Cornerstone’s art festival! It was such a beautiful day and got to meet a lot of great people. I want to thank Camila for organizing, preparing, and promoting Express Mobile Phlebotomy at the event!

When patients listen and drink water before their appointment 🥹 👏 love it!

This lovely lady was so nervous to get her blood drawn because in the past other mobile phlebotomist used a straight needle which cause her vein to collapse as soon as the needle went in. Her other arm cannot be used for blood draws. I offered her the option of a “baby” needle and she immediately relaxed and smiled😄 long story short, if you have butterflies to use for your patients, then use them! You have nothing to prove if you can do it with or without a straight needle. If you make it easier for your patients, then it’ll be easier on you. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week 😊💉🩸

This morning was a Quest drop-off morning (which I forgot to take a picture of) and then kits, kits, kits! We had Vibrant, Genova, Galaxy, DNA 🧬 testing, and Precision Point. What a wonderful and productive day it was!

This week Express Mobile Phlebotomy had the pleasure of drawing for Iona McGregor Fire Station! These are some of the vials ready before packing it up and our set up. It was a great experience and cannot wait to do another one again!

Had the pleasure of attending the Travesío health and wellness fair hosted by Dr. Roberta Coleman! It was such a great experience because I got to meet other amazing entrepreneurs and doctors! I loved that I was able to promote the services we provide to the community! This was a great experience and I’m so grateful for the opportunities given to me! 🤩

When I first started drawing for cultures I was so afraid of messing up but now I love doing them! They are so easy 💉🩸 but always make sure your patient is well hydrated beforehand!

I forgot to take a picture of second patient 🤦🏽‍♀️ but here is third patient’s blood draw collection! 💉🩸it was this plus urine collection!! Thankfully, he was well hydrated and his blood draw went well.

First patient of the day is a transplant patient and was poked multiple times at the hospital so he was bruised every where. His hands were the only place I saw that wasn’t bruised. Thank God I found a juicy vein for three vials 💉🩸I asked if he had my fluid restrictions and he stated no so I STRESSED the importance of drinking lots of water before any blood draw! He was happy that I drew his blood quickly and barely felt the needle. His wife even gave me some Cuban coffee to start my day off right 😁
