Happy summer!!

So I’ve done some digging on the whole thermomix thing and here’s what I’ve found.
I can confirm it is 100% definitely a cult. But not just any cult. This is a group of people so engaged they would turn your lifeless body into a cobb loaf if you dared question the value of a thermomix again.
It’s a whole community. Like do you even know how many people have “Thermomix Consultant” in their name that shared my last post? It’s no longer just an appliance. It’s basically the Tupperware of the kitchen appliance world.
It’s like a whole hustle and I’m here for it. There’s consultants throwing parties. There’s books and even thermomix celebrities out there and I’m legitimately ready to drop my own custard recipe.
Kid you not… some people are that into it that they own several of them. That’s right. The speed of a thousand spaceships wasn’t enough for Jessica who needs to make her paste and potatoes at the same time to feed her family of 2 and a cat.
And have you ever dared try to question the value of a thermomix online? You ever tried to ask about bench space? Imma save you some passive aggressiveness right now and say don’t ever do it. They will f**k you up with so many pictures of random useless appliances it replaces.
During my investigation I have also learned that there are several levels of thermomix user. They are as below.
Consultant Cathy. Cathy has adopted Thermomix as her online professional identity. She will likely share this post to get you to buy one. Loves hosting parties and offers Afterpay.
Enthusiast Ebony. Ebony speaks of her thermomix in her bio. She doesn’t sell them but will convert you to wanting one. She will bring you into her home and demonstrate arduous manual tasks being performed with ease. She has a spice rack on display and a recipe holder for the bench like she performing a Beethoven symphony.
Part-time Patricia. Patricia is super efficient and she uses it where it adds value but also isn’t scared to use the oven too. She got it because of Ebony but she still likes some of her food non-purée. Uses it lots but not for everything. Can only handle Ebony in small doses.
Trying Hard Tracey. Tracy really wants to get around it. She bought all the gear, sees the value and likes the idea. Started off really strong but she’s s**t at shopping and never has what she needs to really get it going again. She follows the pages for inspo but it sits in her walk in pantry collecting dust. Her husband often makes smart-ass remarks about it.
Cocktail Cassie. Cassie dropped $2k at a party coz she was tipsy as f**k. She exclusively uses hers for alcoholic beverages. She sees this as the best use for herself and often brings people over just to get them f**ked up on margaritas before sending them home.
Investigation to continue…

Excuse the foul language, but this was too funny not to share 🤣😂🤣
Old mate got a thermi… and lads I gotta say you ain’t never seen a woman change till you watch her trying to thermomix the s**t out of your life. She got a person too. Like someone legit gonna come here and sort her out. It’s definitely a cult.
All that s**t you think you know about cooking… forget it. Coz she ever see your sorry ass tryna boil your own egg again then you f**ked.
Dead set went from burning nuggets last week to making her own paste like she Gordon Ramsay. Now she talkin bout homemade spreads n s**t. We have spices. Why the f**k do we need spices.
In the last 2 days I’ve seen more experimental curry, noodle box and risotto than any man should ever bear. And she’s happy too… like happy... I’m nervous as s**t.
Anyway… it’s definitely a trap. Thermomix cult is real and she drinkin the Kool-aid.

🧅 Have you ever find yourself staring 👀 at the different types of onions at the supermarket and wondering if you are picking the right ones? Yes?! Good to know I am not the only one! 😉
For the next time you are in doubt on what type of onion you should use, take a look and save this post I made.
🧅Want a few tips? In case of doubt, use a yellow onion. Want to make things look pretty? Garnish with scallions. Don't have leeks? Use a yellow onion.
The best part of all? With the Thermomix® you won't find yourself crying with onions anymore. Save those tears to the show you can watch while the Thermomix® is doing all the chopping and cooking!
Where are my pasta lovers?!!

Happy almost Friday!
I am sure 90% of you already know and do this. But, for those of you that do not know...to fully clean your mixing bowl you need to disassemble it.
The first few times it might feel a bit hard to do, since the base might be tight, but don't worry, it is quite easy once you get the hang of it.
Check out this diagram on how to do it.

Good tips ✍🏻 🗒
If you know of a messy cook...share this with them for a few laughs!
I love how cooking with the Thermomix reduces clutter and mess around my kitchen. When I cook the traditional way...let's just say things can get messy 😁
So yes, this is one more reason I love my Thermomix!
🍅Some ingredients like curry, carrots and tomatoes, may stain plastic cooking tools, like the Thermomix accessories. The specific surface texture of those parts means that this is often unavoidable.
🧼To minimize these kinds of stains, you need to wipe any coloured food off the plastic parts as quickly as possible when you finish cooking.
📆But don't worry, the majority of discolourations will disappear on their own over time.
🌞Want to try a fun trick? Putting the parts in direct sunlight for about an hour or so will remove most yellow stains.
💚You can rest assured that this type of discolouration is purely cosmetic. It will not harm your health in any way, nor will it impair the functionality of the parts.

If you are pregnant congratulations!
If this is your first baby, you might not know to what extent you are not really going to be able to step a foot in the kitchen for the first few weeks after the baby is born. If this is not your first rodeo, you know how important it is to plan ahead of time and to have food in the freezer available for the first few weeks.
It is like you from the past will be taking care of you from the future.
With this in mind, and because I am a mom myself too and just 8 months ago I had my second baby, I know how important it is to try to come up with ideas to freeze meals. But I also know that it can feel overwhelming and exhausting just thinking about it. So this is why I created this list with some tips and ideas, with the hopes to help new and pro moms out there.
I personally dedicated about 3 mornings in a row to cook, about 2 weeks before my due date. And we survived from what I made for the next month and a half after I delivered. It was so convenient to have homemade frozen food ready on those exhausting first days.
Whether you end up with food in the freezer or not, don't worry, everything will be okay mamma. You are going to be a great mom!
These are also great dishes to bring to moms of newborns on the first weeks. All help is greatly appreciated!

What made you decide buy your Thermomix? How did it change your life?
"I can see why they are popular in Europe where kitchens tend to be smaller. Or if you were a young couple just starting out in life, maybe instead of buying a blender, bread machine, rice cooker, mixer and Instant Pot, you’d use the same amount of money to purchase a Thermomix instead." --
