All the feels of life through music.
I get to work with some of the most wonderful, talented people!! What an amazing, memorable evening!!
Getting ready!! Get your tickets at TicketMaster or at the door starting at 4:30 PM at McKelligon Canyon Theater!
It’s production week!! I LOVE 😍 this part of the process! And I love the people that make this possible! 👨👩👧👧👨👨👦👩👩👧👧
Obviously the performers are a huge part of it but let’s not forgot the “unsung” heroes that deserve recognition!! Part One!!
•Flor (pictured), our collaborative pianist, 🎹 who makes us singers (like Antonio, also pictured!) sound good, who makes it come together!
•Venues like Pilón, and Whole Foods Market who host our pre-show events. 🥂🍇🥖🛒
•Our sound technicians, in this case Antonio was on sound and in charge of setting things up at all SIX of last weekends gigs! 🎵🎤 Yup, that’s the same guy singing in the first pic!!
•the folks at New to Me thrift store who also carry formal wear—and the ladies who had my dress altered 🪡🧵👗to fit me and make me shine on stage!! 🌟
•everyone who is helping set up for each stage of preparation for TONIGHT’S performance (did I mention tickets 🎫 are still available on TicketMaster and at the door??). My friend and co-worker (how lucky am I that I get to work with someone so wonderful??) and I put up signage to help direct people ↕️↔️🔀, set up hospitality drinks and snacks🍊🍿🥨, and deep cleaned the spaces🧽🪣. And it was HOT 🥵 😝!!
•I forgot to snap a pic of my fabulous hair stylist, Kelsi, at Beauty Bar. 😢 But I sure love what she did!! 👱🏼♀️🪮
•Of course my boys were practicing being supportive as I spent quality time with them celebrating some goals being achieved at McDonald’s, before heading back to attend the dress rehearsal. 🍟 🍗 🥤 😊
•Obviously, my friends and fellow singers!! I have such talented and beautiful-inside-and-out friends!! 💖
As I take more pics, I’ll post more about the peeps that make it possible to bring this all together!!

It’s been a hot minute since my last post, but I wanted to share this fabulous “opera”tunity to share the healing power of music with those beautiful souls in assisted living and rehabilitation centers! My El Paso Opera colleagues and I sang opera and musical theater selections in partnership with the Junior League of El Paso, Inc.!
We’re so thankful to be a part of something bigger than ourselves! What a joy to being some smiles to their faces.
That’s it from me for now, but keep singing, you beautiful people!
What a fun adventure singing art songs, arias, and musical theater selections on a moving streetcar! 🤩 A big thank you to for having resident artists and resident pianist to bring art to the people! The marquee is right. That streetcar was “Special” last night. 😘
And in honor of Dr. Seuss week, this brought a whole new meaning to “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” 😉
-with Taelon Stonecipher, Mariana Sandoval, and Guillermo de la Garza.
Come see me perform some of the most beautiful music written—on a street car!! Don’t let the novelty fool you, this is classic-good stuff!
I had the honor of working with band leader of The Golden Groove, Daniel Rivera, and pianist, Andrea Davis. Singing such favorites as Mary, Did You Know?, and O, Holy Night.” Having Daniel on guitar was an especial treat, especially given how busy things are for musicians this time of year!
Read this post to the end to see one of my favorite Bach quotes! 🎶 🌟 🎶
I love all kinds of music and have been focusing on some classic greats like Ella Fitzgerald, and Nina Simone, to name a few—all in preparation for a big turning point!
I stepped out of my comfort zone and sang a full jazz set with The Golden Groove last night! 🤩
Group leader, Daniel Rivera, has been a great, encouraging mentor in transitioning over to this style of singing! My heartfelt thanks go out to him!
More pics and video to follow in the coming days!
Getting back into shape as a singer is more than the physicality 💪🏼 of the work—there’s a lot of mental 🧠 work to do, too! 🤯 I loved this visual of how to break things down! 🥰
What do you think of this post from Aspiring Opera Singers? What works for you?
Not too long ago, a friend reached out to me for help with a small recording project. Never did I think I would actually be able to help someone else with their recording needs, but thanks to the pandemic-which-shall-not-be-named I knew exactly what to do. I was so glad I was able to both help her vocally (getting the voice back into shape coming out things is legit hard!!), but we were able to prepare something for her upcoming event. Thanks for trusting me to help you create!
Let me know if you need help getting your small scale recording project taken care of, I’m glad to help! Contact info on the page. Woot!
We’ll be out bringing our community joy before you know it! FTW!!!
🗣We are thrilled to bring back to the community! 🛻 🎤 🎶 We are getting everything ready for 's return in March. 📅
🗣Plus, First Fridays will return in April!
We've missed you and we look forward to seeing you at these free community performances soon! Stay tuned for dates and locations! ** weather/wind permitting** ☀️ 😎

Happy holidays and Happy 2021 to you all!!! 🎉 🎊 🎉
I didn’t do much with my new website this year, but I took that important step of STARTING it!
..
Many of my friends and supporters know that I’m a mother of FIVE SONS and will often ask, “HOW DO YOU DO IT ALL?!”
Well, the truth is....
I DON’T!!!! I don’t DO IT ALL, and NO ONE DOES!!!
This image says a lot about “how I do it” but here are a few more one liner answers:
“I have a very helpful spouse and friends.” 💕
“Medication. Ahem, I mean meditation.”😜
“I take a LOT of naps.”
I am so grateful my fellow Resident Artists and I were invited to record for El Paso Opera’s Making Seasons Bright series! It’s been such a joy to hear and see them share their talents! Here are my selections. Accompanied by Guillermo de la Garza, edited by Mariana Sandoval Lintz. Video credit to my dear husband, Jasper Mesarch.
I truly hope this brightens your holiday season!
It always brings a smile to my face when friends are able to make it to these performances!!
Another great evening of in the books. Thanks to the beauties, Sarah Neely and Annie Pennies, who also sang this evening. It’s such a joy to work with y’all!
Brushing up an old favorite and learning about the special origin of the carnations in Spain.
Come to tonight’s with El Paso Opera to hear this little gem.
