Hello everyone,
As some of you know and others are hopefully wondering, I’ve taken a slight break from my endeavor. I recently lost the ability to drive a car. This has limited my ability to get quality ingredients at the right prices from the stores I frequent. My doctors and I are doing everything we can to get me back to 100%.
I’m not yet sure how I will be moving forward with Moose’s Meals but I assure you I have no intention of giving up on cooking for you all. I have free time and this business has helped me focus, cook and grow.
Having said that, one of you reached out this week and asked me for a few things. Therefore, I am cooking now and making a small amount extra to offer you to make your week tastier and easier. I have limited amounts of these 3 items. 4 - 6 quarts of each. I will update as soon as I can.

Hey Everybody,
As you may or may not know, I spend most days in Winnetka working for my friend Matt and his wife Sarah at Grateful Bites. We make amazing pizza, scratch soups, and sides with a beautiful wood burning oven as our centerpiece.
In past years, I have worked with Matt making holiday meals easier for our Winnetka customers to enjoy with less hassle. I would spend endless hours in the kitchen with the team there and then come home and do the same thing, shopping and cooking separately for my MM customers… and inevitably sleeping less than I should.
This year, instead, we are going to offer our Grateful Bites holiday menus to my customers instead of a separate menu. Amazing pies by Baker & Hobbes will be available as well.
Thanksgiving orders will be picked up (as usual, from my house) on Wednesday, November the 25th.
Please place all Thanksgiving orders with me by Thursday, November 19th.

Instead of your Chicago style hot dog stand or Portillos’s they have a “Plate Lunch” meal in the islands. It consists of your choice of protein with a couple scoops of medium grain sticky rice and a scoop of mac salad...more or less.

Tomato Whey Soup with Ramp Gnudi - $12qt
First I take organic milk and cream from the dairy and cook it to become curds and whey. The whey/liquid is blended with fire roasted vegetables and organic tomatoes to become the soup base. The curd/solids/ricotta is turned into a dumpling to be enjoyed in the soup. I know it’s a bit hot for soup but I promise it’s a nice meal in the lovely AC of your home.
