Not only did we get to be part of the winemaking process, but we also got to get outside, socialize from a safe distance, and connect to Mother Earth 🌍

One of the cool things about this type of exercise is that it’s extremely functional and dynamic which is difficult to reproduce in a gym/at home with weights

The Lymphatic System!!!!
The lymphatic system helps eliminate toxins from our body, and follows a similar track as our veins.
Light jumping can help promote pumping of the lymphatic system, to aid in circulating and eliminating toxins.
Tip: jump on the bed or on the ground for 1-2 minutes, 2x/day to show your lymph system some love 💕 and help your body eliminate toxins and recover faster 💪🏼

This simple yoga pose came to mean so much more to me
I found yoga after looking for some mental and physical relief. The fast pace and high demand of the clinic can be draining at times
I had found a class that I was able to tolerate, and really enjoyed the teacher
One of the biggest things I appreciated about her was her wording
She would carefully choose her words to convey depth and meaning to the poses...
“Uttanasana... Let something go,” were the words that changed how I would practice yoga
She demanded that I released something that no longer served me, as I physically folded forward and released tension throughout my entire body
Words are so powerful, and can not only change how we move through a yoga class. Words can change our lives.

Allow yourself to only think positively about yourself and see how long you can go until a negative thought arises.

Pain with walking can be very limiting, and can certainly lower your quality of life.
Making sure you are flexible is important, but more important than that is making sure your body has the adequate strength to walk without overusing your back muscles.
Try this test.
Stand on one leg. Can you balance? How long does it take you to lose your balance? Are you keeping your hips and shoulders level? Does your spine curve?
>40% of walking is spent on one leg.
If your body doesn’t have the adequate strength to stand in a static position on one leg, then it certainly doesn’t have the strength to do it dynamically with walking!!
Try holding a single leg stance for 30 seconds without holding on to anything!
