1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

If you’re ever in Dublin and want some Chinese food, this is the place to go to! My gluten free sweet and sour chicken was amazing! They have a seperate menu and use a dedicated fryer for the entire GF menu!! It’s Mama Yo’s in Dublin. A few blocks from the Hyatt. Now to find a similar place in San Diego…..
New gluten free snacks just spotted at Trader Joe’s that came home with me today along with ones that I always get when they are in stock!
What’s your best gluten-free treats at Trader Joes?
Homemade 4 ingredient Samoas for the win!! thanks for the recipe!
Cup coconut shreds(toasted), cup of pitted dates, blend and freeze. Drip on some chocolate with coconut oil and cover the bottom.
When you want the SAMOAS but you can’t have the gluten!!
Parsnip came in my farm fresh box a few days ago so I looked through my recipe books and landed on No Crumbs Left Parsnip Purée! Can’t wait to finish them off and make some pork chops ahead of time for dinner tonight since sports are now in full swing.
I had the ingredients so I went for it!! Such a great alternative cheese sauce without using cashews(because of my daughters allergies)….
I didn’t have coconut cream just coconut milk, so after I blended it, I put it back on the stove with a little more arrowroot and thickened it up! Can’t wait to use it for something!!
I really wanted to cook something from but my daughter insisted on these pumpkin doughnuts in cookbook Against All Grain!
They taste more like a muffin but a damn good one that is moist and has ALL the pumpkin flavors I love!
Have you gotten your hands on a copy of her new cookbook Healthy in A Hurry?
🎃
Simple, clean pumpkin spice creamer! Coconut cream, pumpkin purée, maple syrup and pumpkin spice!! Just add a few tbsp to your regular coffee and thank me later :)
Oh and pumpkin doughnuts are currently in the oven…
Nothing like a good sloppy joe over mashed potatoes!!
Just pre-ordered this baby and got some awesome bonuses!! Go to healthyinahurry dot com and have it dropped at your door Sept 6!! I’m so excited for this one as well….gluten free, dairy free and grain free! It’s how I should be eating every single day to be honest.
What is your favorite gluten-free cookbook?
Marvel ice cream had Vegan vanilla and raspberry in a separate machine so Spencer and I were able to enjoy a little deliciousness with all the cousins after a stormy beach day at the club!!
It’s the difference between buying at a store and supporting local businesses…well this week I learned about The Bizzy Barnyard! They sell chicken and eggs and are just an amazing company with good standards. I can not wait to visit their barnyard soon and give you the ins and outs of it all! thank you for all you do for the community. You are the locals I love supporting!
Isn’t it amazing when the yolk is so beautiful and orange! Breakfast was deeeeelicious!
My daughter is amazing! She made me this gluten free cake ball cake for my birthday!! (This did not fall under the sugar free category🤣)She used gluten free chocolate cake mix, gluten free version and her own buttermilk frosting (subbed coconut milk to make it dairy free). Half the cake went into the cake pop balls and the other half is the base of the cake! She dipped each ball into either white or dark chocolate from
I could not be more impressed…oh wait yeah I am…she also cleaned the kitchen the night before my bday so I could wake up to a clean kitchen on my birthday and cleaned the entire kitchen for me last night! Talk about an incredible teenager….
I don’t ever give her enough credit…well here ya go Syd.
Something about the sauce…Phil’s bbq has fed my family again! The pork ribs are delicious and everything on the menu is gluten free besides the bread and something else…they have a great disclaimer on the bottom of their menu.
My daughter has recently starting ordering the tri-tip over the fries and man are they perfect! (Minus the sharp American cheese for me).
This is the one in Rancho Bernardo but there are a few more throughout the San Diego area.
Homemade soup is always the best!
Made some chicken bone broth in the IP and then took 4 cups of it and used it for the base of my soup!
Added 2 cups salsa
4 big carrots
2 sweet potatoes
Cooked for 30 min
Took a cup or two out and puréed it and immediately added it back in.
Added my shredded chicken from the rotis I got already made and then throw in two cups of frozen spinach!
Made sure it was heated all the way through and it was delicious!
Went out to breakfast this morning for my husband’s birthday and ate in Carmel Mountain!!
I had a short stack of gluten free pancakes (I’m not sure if they are dairy free) with two eggs and bacon! These are probably the best GF pancakes I’ve had in a long time!
And a bonus, the restaurant has recently remodeled and it beautiful….looks like they have also build a mini-golf area (not sure of its open yet)…but how much fun is that?
I devoured the pancakes and almost forgot to take a picture completely…so yeah, maybe next time 😉.
Because I am obsessed with my new mini Dash waffle maker and I have made these bagels before with the yeast, I decided to make the recipe again without the yeast and use the mini to make waffle bagels! And let me tell you they turned out amazing and only took a fraction of the time.
It’s time to get back to the basics and start making all the things I need day-to-day. The kids get free lunch at school but the quality of ingredients is just not what I want them to be putting into their body every day.
Next up I’m making some oat bread from instant loss on a budget. Can’t wait to see how that turns out.… I am using yeast in this recipe but this loaf will be for my family since I can’t have yeast or oats.
I’m not sure what I think of these…they didn’t have my regular GF ones but these were on sale. Don’t love all the ingredients but they worked for today. Back to Danielle Walkers recipe where I control all of what I mix…
Have you seen these yet? Tried them? What do you think? .
