The City of Statesboro Water Department will be conducting a hydrant flow test on North Main Street on Thursday, June 6th, at 10:00 p.m. The department will also be flushing a few additional hydrants in the vicinity of the test to help prevent discolored water from entering homes and businesses. If you experience discolored water, run your taps with cold water for about five minutes or until the water runs clear. The 2024 Bike Ride Across Georgia (brag) will take place this week. The riders will be in Bulloch County Friday afternoon and Saturday morning as they make their way to Savannah. They will be camping overnight at the RAC at GSU.
The riders will leave Swainsboro starting Friday morning at 7:00. They will enter Bulloch County on Pleasant Hill Rd. and take the following route to the RAC at GSU.
