You are welcome to join the Badger Paparazzi, ready to capture every triumphant moment as they es**rt the team from Peterson Hill to BFHS. 📸 You read that correctly!🏟️ From the majestic slopes of Peterson Hill (where the air is thin and the Badger spirit is thick) to the hallowed halls of BFHS (where basketball dreams come true and algebra problems are solved). 🏫

🕰️ Projected Return Time: Somewhere between 4 and 5 pm. But let’s be real, time is just a construct when you’re celebrating like a Badger on a victory streak! ⏰

So, gather your pom-poms, practice your victory dance, and get ready to cheer louder than a stadium full of Badgers! 🎶🎊

Today, our BFHS STUCO leadership visited the Extended Care Unit, Boundary County Restorium, and Sunset Homes to spread some joy to elderly residents. They shared stories and made memories while brightening up their day. Happy Valentine's Day!

The Brawl is still happening with all the same planned activities. We still have shirts available and will be for sale at the event. Thanks Bonners Ferry Living for sharing our event! We’re getting excited to host!

Gather your friends and family, as you won't want to miss Backwoods Brawl 2024. This school spirit competition takes place on Friday, January 19, at Bonners Ferry High School between the Badgers and Timberlake High School Tigers. In addition to the wrestling dual at 2pm followed by basketball at 4 and 6pm, the competition also includes a battle of the bands, cheer competition, spirit competition and decorating competition. Tickets are pre-sold at BFHS only for $5, and shirts will also be available.

After discussing at length with my growers in California we have decided to push your delivery window to Thursday, January 4th - Friday, January 5th, 2024.

The primary factor pushing off citrus picking later is the naval oranges and grapefruit just aren't ripe enough to deliver their signature sweet flavor.

The hot summer months were great for building the natural sugar content in the citrus; but with the hotter temps extending into late fall, the acidic content is still high as cooler temperatures are needed to lower the acidic content and bring out the sweetness.

In my 38 years running a Fall Citrus Fundraiser this is the first year this has happened. Other than the delayed citrus ripening the crop does appear to be coming along nicely. I am confident the delay will be worth the wait and come early January you and your customers will be pleased with the product.

We're selling Oranges and Grapefruit again! You can either reach out to one of our Leadership students or order online following the instructions provided. Oranges and Grapefruit will be delivered to BFHS between 11/30 and 12/1. Each box is $40.

If you'd like to donate but don't wish to keep the oranges, we can also deliver to the Boundary County Community Action Partnership to distribute to community members in need of food this season.
