Saturday, August 10th is Belay Day! Members get a discount on our belay lessons, and parents have the opportunity to learn to belay while Rockville staff supervise the kiddos! Spots are limited, registration is required to participate. Payment due at the time of registration. Come on in to start up a new belaytionship with climbing! ((Must be at least 14 years old to learn to belay!))

Come romp in the swamp tomorrow at Rockville for our Shrek (and fairytale!) theme night! Dress up in costume, try our scavenger hunt, or pin the tail on Donkey while you climb and listen to the best soundtrack ever! Monday at 7!

Our next staff spotlight is our owner/janitor/lead instructor, our very own King Beyond the Wall, Mike! Mike has been climbing for over 30 years, and still treats us to his expertise as a lead climbing instructor! To get some face-to-face time with Mike, you can sign up for his next lead class (Tuesday 7/23) or come in for our next community event!

Meet Michelle Perkins, the big ol’ brain behind Rockville’s kids programming! She’s a jack of all trades when it comes to outdoor education, and knows exactly how to keep kids of all ages engaged in both play and learning!

You can usually spot her somewhere around Rockville doing happy dances and coming up with fun games to keep the kids (and her coworkers!) occupied. Summer kids programming is in full swing, so ask Michelle or the rest of the Rockville staff about how to sign your kid up!

A dynamic and invigorating practice to link body, breath, and mind.
We’ll flow through movements that prepare, strengthen, and recover the body for climbing with focus on increasing functional range of motion, joint health, stability + balance, and full body release and rest. There will be accessible options for all bodies and abilities- come play and explore!
