โ'One Voice' resonates with me because weโve broken down into so many silos as a society. Itโs a great reminder of what amazing things we can create and build when we collaborate and listen to each other." - Dan Benischek ๐
"I had the opportunity a few years ago to visit Tanzania with a church delegation. When we sing the 'Ngokujabula!' movement of 'Jubilate Deo,' I can imagine myself surrounded by the people I met there, voices merging with ours." - Rachel Bennet ๐ถ

"Iโve been singing this piece since college and itโs always a joy to see it come back. It feels nostalgic and new at the same time because every time is with a new group of people." - Jon Holsclaw ๐ถ
"'Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal' is a song Iโve performed (and heard performed) several times in my life. Every time, the piece is recognizable but different. A piece like this shows the flexibility of music to convey the spirit of the group or individual performing it while still convening its original meaning or message. Every performance of this piece has been memorable for me, and this one promises to be no different!" - Tristan Dudley ๐
"The song 'Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal' has many special memories associated with it. We sang it as part of our Carroll College January 1994 European tour. A number of us sang it while waiting for a train to arrive. Spontaneous song always brought applause from nearby people, but the joy of the song was always primarily for us, the singers." - Bridget Smith ๐ผ

"The first time I sang the Biebl version of Ave Maria, my soul was lifted to the heavens. Arranged for all four voices, there is a call-and-response effect that makes it even more joyous. Such a beautiful Christmas message!" - Brian S.
"Franz Biebl was born in Germany in 1906. Germany is a very important place in my heart and our local culture. He composed the Ave Maria, his best-known work, in the 1950s using the inspiration of both Ave Maria and the Angelus. The two prayers honor the mother of Jesus and also the sanctity and importance of women. I have said the words to the Angelus at 6, 12, and 6, as well as said and sung the words to the Hail Mary countless times. His modern, mid-century harmonies elevate a medieval sound to the era in which I first learned to sing and first learned that to sing is to pray." - Holly
