THE SITTING GYM is a communal space to exercise our awareness.

Meditation is the byproduct of a seated, measured breathing practice where we assume a physical and mental posture meant to enable a sense of strength and compassion in the mind and body.

Admittedly it's been a difficult week for me and my daily meditation practice has faltered as a result, though I recognize this is exactly when it is needed most. "The times" continue to be crazy and tense, and in the midwest we're bracing ourselves again for the realities of winter and everything else experiencing the end of this 2020 is going to entail. But I'm very thankful for the continued opportunity to practice outdoors as a community, hosted by Nouveau Dance and Yoga, while the weather accommodates.
