Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to express how truly wonderful it was to participate in Jefferson Elelmentary's Medical Career Field Day this summer.

Thank you Ms. LaWanda Elliott for the invite! The entire event showcased the commitment of the school to provide students with invaluable exposure to various professional fields, including pharmacy.

I was genuinely impressed by the enthusiasm and passion exhibited by the pharmacy school students.

Medication Safety Tip of the Day:

Never tell a child that medicine is candy. This is common when a child does not like to take medicine.

Children have overdosed after mistaking pills for candy.
Children need to know what medicine is and the dangers of taking an adult's dose of medicine.

I had an awesome time at Harvey Benoit Recreation Center! The children learned the dangers of the misuse of prescription drugs and how to keep themselves safe.
They were a lively crew, so smart and savvy. We had a ball!😀
