The weather has been terrible the past few days and I haven’t been feelin 100%. It starts with pain, then havin to decide between takin narcotics (keeps my mind off the pain, but I hate the side effects and addiction is possible) or just deal with the pain until it passes (but pain turns me into an irritable asshole😭)
So I’ve just been feeling hopeless, alone, and afraid💔
I prayed last night and woke up filled with HOPE today. I will not lose this battle with my body and I will NOT be afraid. I WILL face my fears. I WILL face any obstacle!!
I have Sickle Cell Disease, but it don’t have me‼️‼️
Happy Mother’s Day to all the great mothers that are gone and in our memories and the mothers that are still here holding on strong 💪🏾 I love y’all so very much for what y’all do everyday. Nothin better than a mother’s love.
