We’ve been quite for a couple years but getting ready to fire it back up

Guys this is that skinny horse we took in a month ago he is starting to come around we’re gonna keep him on this grower ration for another 2 months

maverick decided that the kid needed some cleaning.

So guys I would like to start out by saying I’m very proud of my grandson Brooks he worked his tale off for 6 months to buy him a couple horses for the ride on his own. I think he learned a very valuable lesson about some people in the business. I absolutely hate that there is a person out there representing them self as a horse ranch, horse farm or whatever they are claiming that would take advantage of a 13 year old boy to sale him a horse that they said was a solid kid broke horse sent pics to him of another horse in great shape. So he makes the 8 hour round trip to pick up this pile of bones. Now we’re leaving on this ride in 98 days so I guess it’s time to turn to rescue mode and fix this little guy. Guys if your gonna have them feed them. If you can’t afford them give them away. If this was just from stupidity then invest into your nutrition department I thought everyone in the business knew that nutrition was the key to success but guess not

Guys we’re down to 99 days we got the girls on 29,890 calories a day we got the boys on 34,129 calories a day they are all happy and ready for this. I reckon the next 99 days is all about the fun of it.

147 days left been a couple changes on members going. Some have dropped out and some new ones have came in either way it’s gonna be a crazy time. I’m ready to kick it off now tired of waiting.

165 days left till we ride out and these 3 are ready for it.

We’re under 180 days about 70% ready and 8 horses short. Looks like we might be starting some of these from the trail should be interesting.

Our team is finally all together we have been scattered out over the last couple years but we are all back together now with a little over 180 days till we head out on the ride. Time to crank it up guys and get busy.

223 days till we hit the trails

Well folks after 8 years of planning it’s official we are going to try to turn 23,000 miles in the saddle. We have started planning the route we plan on taking. You only live once just more memories made with the family and most importantly my beautiful wife. Oh this is going to be crazy

Nice evening to do a little trimming and spend a little time with the palomino that came in Saturday

So I was wondering if I took another hard wreck if my body was gonna be able to handle it coming off this last wreck 3 years ago. I had a pretty serious wreck last night my body is a little beat up but I held together. I absolutely hate this next part we are having to watch this filly pretty close with any luck and lots of prayers she will pull through this with lots of attention

Another late night just put the last one up. Time for the shower and then bed to wake up to do it all again. Man I love this life
