So D23 was this weekend, and for anyone who loves Disney this is like Christmas!

We got lots of exciting news this go around. Some was discussed last year but confirmed this year! Here is all the news in graphic form!

It made me think, I wonder what the cost to stay at those resorts and visit all 4 parks would be for a family of four at the end of July to celebrate the end of summer! I used to think that Universal Studios was only for the thrill seekers, which is not me. But upon visiting a couple years ago for retreat and then again with my husband, I realized there is something for everyone.

Characters, kids rides, 3-D rides, coasters, water park, Harry Potter, etc there is so much there.

I love that Universal Studios tries to reach all ages and adventure levels alike. It’s one of my favorite things about them!

They are in Malta!

Where is Malta? It’s in Europe just below Italy and not far from Spain. It’s a beautiful island with blue waters surrounding it.

The ladies stayed at the beautiful IHG property Intercontinental

There was a 1 on 1 of the city, a group knight themed date, and of course the private boat tour.

3 years ago I made a decision that changed my life.

I work full time at a church with student 6th-12th Grade and I love it. It’s my calling. I do ministry with other people and it’s such a blessing.

I also love Walt Disney World. It’s a place I have always felt at home, a place of dreams and imagination. A place where you are never too old to be a kid. I loved planning trips and helping others plan theirs. I enjoyed it.

That got people talking to me about becoming a travel agent. I applied for an agency and never heard back (so I thought). I was discouraged, then someone I work with asked me if I remembered Adam Duckworth from Orange Conference. They told me that he had started his own travel company. I immediately looked it up and decided (after much debate) that I would apply.

Not even a day later I had an interview and just days after that I signed my contract. I had no idea what this would look like, but I had to find out. To finally own something that just belonged to me.

That was a game changer for me. I became more confident and grew a business I am quite proud of. I am not ready to jump into it full time because students are still my calling. However it has changed so much for us in the financial realm and even more for me in the confidence level.

I am so thankful for Travelmation and the way it changed my story.
