Providing traditional Indian style Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes for all levels I am Maria, certified Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga teacher.

My Yoga method is focused on results
and can help to increase strength & flexibility,
boost energy levels and relieve stress. We are living a stressful life. All the tasks at work and at home may lead to burn out,
burden our mind and bodies. It's easy to forget to take care of yourself
and neglect with so little time. We'll likely be more reactive to the stress we face in our life. We can even

You can do it! Alone or with some help.
Sometimes it will be tough, but you will succeed if you push through even when you don't feel like it. Every step forward, gets you closer to whatever you want, whether it's a fitness goal or to finish your degree or just a small task you're dragging.
Just keep going. Start little.
Don't let temporary feelings hold you back from the incredible future you!
Hard to stay motivated?

Finding motivation can indeed be challenging when focused solely on a distant long-term goal. Research suggests that over time, a tendency develops to derive satisfaction from completing immediate tasks, forming a habitual pattern.
Fulfillment derived from smaller accomplishments along the way!

๐Ÿซ‚Genuine conversation where you listen, relate, and share human experience in an open hearted way.

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธMoving my body on the mat or in the middle of a packed dancefloor like no ones watching.

โค๏ธShowing and receiving love & affectionate.

๐Ÿต๏ธAppreciating acts of kindness & passing them on.

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธNot taking for granted each opportunity to learn from experienced, knowledgeable people (wether they call themselves teachers, students or none of those).

โฐ Having the time and the opportunity to practice what I love wether it's spending time with my loved one, practicing yoga, flying as an acro/ ci dancer, playing Chess or smelling flowers while hikingโ˜ฎ๏ธ

All this brings me to the next point, cheesey but true: life is too short to spend the majority of it doing something that doesn't bring you joy and satisfaction.

Pursuing a career or even a hobby that you love will likely lead to greater satisfaction, increased creativity, and a sense of accomplishment.

My parents, who in turn inherited those beliefs from theirs, thought that number one value in the job market is stability, tenure. In times of scarcity
and economic uncertainty, it's easy to see why.
However, today we're luckily asking ourselves questions my parents haven't. Are you happy doing what you do? Is that your dream job? Do you feel motivated, engaged, and productive when working with the people around you?
Does the work environment feels nurturing and supportive or over competitive/ toxic "elbow- shoving" and just makes you feel exhausted emotionally and physically so you have no power whatsoever to do anything else in the end of the day and sleep all weekend to falsely regain strength to face another week of tasks you don't want to do.
So yeah, stability alone is no longer enough. If you work solely in the highest paying job you will feel unfulfilled and trapped.
All this money you earn, that you might think worth it, will simply be wasted on rubbish like alcohol or fancy cloth or hotels just to numb, not on memorable experiences.
Some would say, well life is not a walk in the park. Well why not make it the best enthusiastic f*king walk in the most beautiful park out there?

Hey there my Tel Avivian ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ friends!
Lately, you've been on my mind more than ever, especially with everything that's been happening - from the rocket attacks from Lebanon to the protests to keep Israeliย legislature, executive and judiciary powers apart. It feels odd not being able to participate.
On a personal note, I just miss the openness, all the amazing conversations I used to have with my dear friends over great coffee, the warm beach where I usually bump into someone I know. I miss my former students and just how easy it is to find play buddies for acro, yoga or chess game in the park.
So for the good news: If you happen to be wandering around the Bay Area, don't pay for expensive hotels, we've got a private room w/ double bed + bathroom all set up and ready to host & take you out! It's been approved by traveling and local new friends โœ”๏ธ โค๏ธ

Fresh rain, chilly temperatures, and the new year winds of change invite us to reflect on our strength and resilience, reconnect, relax and reset with a great community of women.

I will lead you through a Hatha yoga class in this half-day wellness retreat
that blend enjoyment with movement.
As we flow through a sequence of yoga poses we'll work on releasing tention from our joints, building strength & flexibility without much effort using the power of in sync breath with movement to induce calmness.

A month go back so quickly!
In retrospective we learned so many skills! How to endlessly squeeze, breath slowly with the partner, hold the body
all this while fearing for your life.
All in 2 weeks and only a few of us came back with knocked eye.

โœจ Restorative pose๐Ÿ’ซ

Supine Twist is extremely beneficial when we need a gentle care and attention.

Everyone that ever tried this restorative pose reported how wonderful it feels for the spine and the whole upper body.

In this asana we are alleviating tightness in the shoulders, neck and chest and gently stretching outer thighs.
The twist relieves tension in the abdomen, stretches the back muscles, realigns and lengthens the spine.

Keep both knees bent to one side with the hand laying on top with the gaze to the opposite. Try to press the shoulder of the free hand against the ground for deeper effect and then soften all muscles and let your body melt into the mat.

I had the privilege to teach yoga to a crowd of 30 people who came from Be'er Sheva, Rishon, Mazkeret Batya, Tel Aviv, Netanya and Pardesia.
People in their early 20's and late 40's.
With and without background in yoga.

Some came alone and within a short period of time befriended with others, opened up, laughed, hugged and shared their life stories ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ”— Those human connections amerged so quickly as we ate together,
trained together, sang together around a bonfire and trusted each other with our live during acro sessions ๐Ÿ˜‡
It was so beautiful to see
and actually much simple to create than we think. While singles sometimes feel disconnected in the heart of a big city, retreating to the dessert with an intimate group of people, combined with a mutual love for movement and nature created new bonds, new partners for training, brought for each of us new perspective to see the world from a standpoint of an Artist, Programists, Manicurist, Psychiatrist, Designers and other diverse professions.

Sharing this wonderful opportunity to teach an intimate group of yogis who came to practice with me during their teacher training (and yoga retreat.

Since they practice Ashtanga style all day, 6 days a week for a month I choose the traditional Hatha style with a few advanced postures such as birdofparadise from malasana and hanumanasana after a long preparation with ardha hanumanasana.
After that a long savasana feels so much better!

It was a pleasure๐Ÿ™

Namaste- as I bow to your dedication to proceed the path of yoga. That is the Sanskrit meaning of namaste- I bow to you.

Got the opportunity to visit my teacher at the magical ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด

I finished here my third certified yoga teacher training๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽ“

Looking back, I respect all the more for the ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ patience with my non-stop questions, especially for the philosophy teacher .s_nagaraja and for down to earth, pleasant approach for sharing his decades old knowledge,
for teaching accurate alignment techniques
and especially for the opportunity to teach tourists while studying, which is the ultimate test- if you can pass on everything you learned so others can enjoy the wonders of yoga for the well being of the body and mind in every day life. I remember how anxious but also passionate I was standing infront of the class. I am to this day very excited every time I get to teach and get people hooked on this beautiful, healing practice ๐Ÿ™

I also met who gracefully taught me yoga in the mornings. He always had encouraging & wise words before I went on teaching and genaral compassionate attitude ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
